Novella, there is a book I have had for a while that you might be interested in. It's called "Celtic Myth and Legend" by Charles Squire. It has a lot of information in it on the gods and goddesses, old myths, etc. Regarding your avatar here is a quote from the book: "Of these warlike goddesses there were five, Fea, the "hateful", Nemon, the "venomous", Badb, the "fury", Macha, a personification of "battle", and over all of them, the Morrigu, or "great queen". With the great queen Morrigu, Fea and Nemon, Badb and Macha hovered over the fighters, inspiring them with the madness of batt

I really want to see a pic of the sink hole. That was a hangout spot for everyone when I was in my early 20s. -
Flood... Fundation drains clean and running free....
msgastorm replied to OldGoat99's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Oh thank you so much Navy Eagle. This explains alot. Yes a similar situation here except we only have 1 drain on 1 side of the house, which seems weird to me, especially since the house is built into a hill. I already had the idea to put the end of the pipe where it drains out into a pit of gravel, but I guess I need to dig up the pipe along the whole side of the house and make sure it has gravel underneath the pipe. After that can dirt go on top of the pipe or should only gravel be placed on top? It looks like you were able to save your carpet. We are not going to be able to. I am very a -

Flood... Fundation drains clean and running free....

NavyEagle I think this may have been my problem too. I am praying that it was. We only have 1 large drain but it goes down the side of the house where the water was coming in at the floor in that one section of the basement. When I went out the other day to check the end of the drain it was COVERED in weeds and the lower half of the exit was a little buried in the dirt. I removed the weeds and dug up 3-4 feet of the end and turned it in a different direction going out of my rose bed. I do not know how can you check that the INSIDE of the drain to see if it is clear. Any suggestions on th -
Everyone please remember that it can take from 6 weeks to a few months for the paperwork for a passport to process and actually get your passport in your hands. Before 911 I believe it was $65 plus mailing fees. I think they are now over $100. I would check the information online as you can download the forms online and print them out.

There is a Best Buy in the Town Center area off Barrett Pkwy. It is in the shopping center where PetSmart and Sports Authority is before you get to Joe's Crab Shack. I love this location as it is much larger than Hiram. I go to Hiram for small items but if I need a large purchase or larger variety or looking for something unusual then I go to the one in Kennesaw. To me Kennesaw is much closer than the location on 41. Happy shopping everyone and good deal Lady Raider! Welcome to the world of Dell. I have a PINK Dell XPS that I love! You can go online with dell and register your computer f

We are in 30157 and we can get Uverse for TV and DSL but not phone, is what we were told online. That's fine because we didn't want phone. We are ditching our land line. We are off East Paulding. Not sure what area you are in OP. Good luck!!

Ahhh 70s are perfect temps for me! I would prefer it to be these temps all year and I missed spring this year due to flu and bronchitis. Summer was awful hot to me, been inside too much. Love these lower temps.

WorriedDad, you probably violated the Paulding.com terms of service with your previous post. You might have a message in your Paulding.com message box about it -
I am completely shocked! I had just told my husband on the phone earlier that I bet it would be a total of 2 weeks. WTG Paulding.

Yes wear the mask and go get some zyrtec to start taking. It is over the counter now. I've been taking it for years with Nasonex and it mostly controls my indoor AND outdoor allergies, including mold and mildew. Although I am having problems the past two days just a little.

New Flash Flood Watch Issued For Metro Atlanta; More Rain Coming

Maybe if we dance naked under the light of the moon and prayed or chanted loudly then God would hear our UNrain dance? LOL Sorry, but it was a funny image that came to mind. -
This is who I use to get information on medications. http://www.drugs.com/ http://www.drugs.com/plaquenil.html If you sign up with the web site you can create your own "current meds" list to check drug interactions, including over the counter medications. It will even save your list for you to use or edit later.

Thank you AJ. I found it. I see you also found a solution.

What's CW? I've heard of the show but was wondering what station so I could catch it sometime. I don't know what CW is though.
-
Alot of times if you go to the website of the station that the show airs on, then you may be able to find it there. What station does it air on?

Novella the house looks totaled. I would start her FEMA enrollment online now. http://www.fema.gov/ They can help with expenses for an apartment while the house is rebuilt, even expenses to replace furniture and appliances.
