The really sad thing is that people such as this woman truly believe that they are owed a living funded by others. This is sick and completely irresponsible. Are you sure about the age requirement of 65 for school tax? I'd call your tax assessor to be certain of the age and any other requirements.

Thanks for the information. I spoke with the Cobb Tax Assessor's office and was told that there are two distinct age 65 property tax exemptions. The first has no income requirement, and will reduce and likely will eliminate the state tax line on your property tax bill (in my case it is $25.56). I will apply for this one.
