That has been my experience as well but let me add that unions are known to be "nasty" to those who want to do their jobs.

I appreciate what you are saying. However, every experience I have had with unions in over 40 years of working has been negative.

You are absolutely correct. TP's point is that he believes that he is entitled, through the government, to wealth that has been earned and is owned by others who are more successful. You are right in that he covets.

The people looking for easy money who are the most despicable are those who seek to live on the government teat. They feel entitled to live on that teat and demand that those who have worked hard and saved all their lives should pay for their well being when they live off the government. Truly disgusting and despicable. These leeches of our society deserve to be trampled more so than lobbyists.

Relying on the government to provide for your needs is a cop-out.
