  1. I just sent you a PM. My tech says he can find and fix the problem for you. Of course, he has to hear it to find it and will need your help with that. Call me.
  2. I can call Devon and ask his opinion about your squeak. You do mean the retractable step that you pull out to step into the bed of the truck, right?
  3. If you would like, I have my tech's cell phone number and would be glad to ask him about the problem and what to do to correct it. He is very knowledgeable and meticulous in his work. Also, have you checked out the problem on the F150 forum?
  4. Which dealer? I use Team Ford and have been for years.
  5. Look here. Might give you some ideas. Imperial Cadillac:
  6. I'm not sure exactly what he wants. Have you tried describing it to google? Packard: Buick:
  7. I have type II and have been diabetic for 6 years. It sounds like her doctor scared her. There are many diabetic cook books. One diet that have followed is to cut my serving size. I remember when I was growing up, we would get small portions - all we needed. I keep trying to follow that. If she would like to talk to someone who has diabetes, I would be glad to discuss it with her. I am 65.
  8. When I lived in Milan 18 years ago, I used to go to the "bar" - coffee and sandwich shop - across from the office with a friend. One of the waitresses told me on a number of occasions that she was sure I was Elton John. While there is some similarity in our appearance, I'd rather look like myself - even though Elton has invested 1000s in his head of hair.

I have lost most of my patience. But, I meant to ask you about your Focus. I bought my wife a used Ti hatch. She loves it. I may look at the ST when it is available. How is yours doing?
  10. Wow!! yes, English and spelling are very different.I am not alon in the way is was taught to say "ad-ver-tiss-ment: http://www.macmillandictionary.com/pronunciation/british/advertisement
  11. I hear you, but, I was taught English in Toronto - it is "ad-ver-tiss-ment" for me and always has been.
  12. Absolutely true. Where I am from "advertisement" is correctly pronounced "ad-ver=tiss-ment" and not "ad-ver-tize-ment". When I hear the latter (incorrect) pronunciation, I hear chalk screeching on a blackboard.
  13. And I know someone who tires to demonstrate that every time he posts. What has "sheeze" and demonstration of ignorance got to do with pronunciation?
  14. Agree, I've had my Nuvi w Lifetime updates for two years and use it regularly. You can get them at a very low price these days.
  15. Absolutely correct/ Most hotels have a "Senior Rate". I always ask for it even if it is not published!
  16. AARP is uber liberal. And, thank you very much for the compliment.
  17. I originally joined AARP but once I was exposed to their political lobbying and agenda, I cancelled my membership - about 6 years ago. They kept mailing me and I told them to stop which they did eventually.
  18. Young is rooted in how you feel and I do feel young, especially when I am singing. I don't think a facelift would make me feel any younger. Go for it.
  19. Don't join AARP. They are a big left wing political ally and lobbyist organization. Take a look at Generation America instead. AARP is not a good political fit for you. http://www.generationamerica.org/ What about 65? Still young?
  20. You guys up there in Wintersota can keep winter to yourselves; thank you very much!
  21. Perfect for those pcommers who are full of hot air.
