I have had several small digital cameras and tired of them. I now have a Nikon D3000. It is bigger but not cumbersome and take beautiful pictures.

I had a bad experience with Nationwide in 2004 when my son's Explorer was struck head on by a reckless driver. Even though we had been with Nationwide for more than 30 years, they would not help us. We dropped them. I would avoid Nationwide completely. We've been with State Farm since but I keep thinking that I should give Curtis a call. My rates are sky high.

We stayed at this resort last Labor Day weekend. Had a great time.

I watch prices carefully and book location, air, hotel and anything else when the price is right. For example, I booked our cruise for next February last May, booked air in August and October, hotels in August. We're going with my brother and sister and their spouses so I want to be sure I have everything booked well in advance - of course, I always do book well in advance. I am always watching for better prices and have called the cruise line looking for the lower price than I paid. I have always been able to get the lower price.

Dr. Weltz of Eye Consultants of Atlanta did my left (good) eye last January. Nothing to it. I was seeing clearer that afternoon and in about 7-10 days, no more glare, no more halos! I had difficulty seeing while driving at night. I had a special distance lens which also fixed my astigmatism installed. It cost me $1100.00 over the standard lens and procedure which was covered by Medicare/Kaiser. I have no regrets. I do wear reading glasses now but will change back to progressives since I really do not like taking my glasses off and then putting them back on (once I find them).
