  1. I hear you, but, I get tired of the bias in the obsolete media and on CNN and MSNBC. If I have to listen to bias, I prefer the right wing variety. I find the news reporting pretty factual on Fox and, while the opinion pieces do lean right, at least Fox lets lefties express their point of view as well. I don't see the same on pMSNBC, for example, which has a hard left leaning bias. And please don't try to tell me that NPR has no bias. They also express left wing opinion.
  2. Are you surprised? pMSNBC is populated by liberals. Fox News is a class act, especially when compared to the biased amateurs at pMSNBC.
  3. It's even more shocking that an ILLEGAL alien has the nerve and the gall to sue. His ass should be back in Mexico today.
  4. You will be assessed ad valorem the year after your purchase.
  5. Zoo is NOT Canadian. She is from Europe, likely the UK.
  6. Good question. I doubt they would assist "scabs".
  7. Unions are obsolete and are nothing more than obtructionists of producitvity.
  8. I voted for Romney/Ryan yesterday. It gave me great pleasure. I waited 1.5 hours in line at Boots-Ward.
  9. The wait at Boots Ward was over 1 1/2 hours yesterday at 11 am. I didn't wait but I intend to vote at 8:30am this morning.I will have thrills running down both legs as I vote for Romney. I want 0bama OUT!
  10. In Democrat political terms it's called "Taking the cake from the person who made it and eating it".
  11. I'm just an honest hard working guy who has done relatively well. I think what each of us should be able to keep 85% to 90% of what we earned. Flat tax is the only fair tax.
  12. TP is always complaining about those who have been more successful than he. While he claims he is not envious, it is quite obvious he is.
  13. I think J's point has to do with hourly paid employees vs salaried employees (assuming your son and daughter are salaried). When I was working as a regular salaried employee, I was expected to work 50+ hours every week. And, I saw no increase in pay most years until my retirement in 2010. I was glad to be working and made sure that I expressed any criticisms constructively. I never whined about my pay. There are always others willing to take the job you're unhappy with and complain about.
  14. ** Remember to whom you are addressing your response. ** And, re "Defunding Big Bird hardly makes the man a monster", it shows Romney, unlike the current occupant of our White House, is ready to make tough decisions although this one is a no-brainer.
  15. Crowley is in the tank for zero-bama. Not surprise here. Will anything be done? Nope.
  16. If you want wealth and success, get off your backside and earn it. Greedy freeloaders are not welcome.
  17. Really? And what was Joe Biden during his debate with Paul Ryan?
  18. Barry has built debt - a heck of a lot of it.
  19. Before I retired, I was working in a group that had to bill 114% of their time. 100% was based on full availability - 8 hours a day billed, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Now add another 14%. Most of us were working 50 - 60 hours a week - on salary. If you did not produce, you were laid off. Working lots of hours is the reality these days. My former coworkers are now required to bill and work 120%.
