  1. I am proud to say that my husband was one of the fraud investigators that worked on the scamming case. And it was so nice to know they got that scuzz bucket off the street, at least for now....YEAY HUBBY! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
  2. I second that birthday wish. Husband retired as a Gunnery Sgt. after 22 years. Definitely miss those dressed blue's. Nothing can be any sexier than a marine in his dressed blue's.
  3. Awww, that made me smile thinking about all those pudgy little legs and feet riding all over that skating rink. Tiny tots and toddlers are the cutest!!!
  4. Hi, my name is Tammy. I am interested in what kind of furniture you have and the prices. If you can send pictures and prices to GAPCH337@COMCAST.NET, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Tammy
  5. CC, let him drive you around EVERY TIME you need to go somewhere. By the time he get's his permanent license he will be so sick of driving he won't want to drive that much anymore. That's what I did with mine and they didn't want to get out there by themselves and think that they were kings of the roads. I have two very good drivers now.
  6. YOU GO NC! TELL 'EM! As someone who is still recovering from a wreck 4 1/2 years and 5 surgeries later, I don't tolerate uninsured drivers either.
  7. Awwwww. And I thought you were a bad guy. That is so sweet
  8. OMG!!! My daughter was allergic to Benedryl when she was a little girl (about 3 yrs old). She was seeing bottles flying through the air, thought the bed was surrounded by water, and also thought there were bugs all over her. And to top that off, she was given the medicine at about 8:30 that evening and didn't go to sleep until after 5:30 the next morning. We never gave it to her again until just recently. She just turned 20 a couple of months ago and it doesn't seem to bother her now. Whew, what a night that was!!!
  9. Rest In Peace Sweet Angel
  10. Real or not, it made me cry. My son is in the army in Hawaii. I have only seen him 1 time in the last 2 years. I know Hawaii is not a battleground, but it's a long way from Georgia. I miss him so much. He called me the other night/morning when the Japan earthquake hit telling me they were under a Tsunami warning. Not that I could do anything, I stayed up from the minute he called (2:46 a.m.) until after 8:45 a.m. our time, watching all the news I could find. I for one have heard of the "Wear Red on Friday" for several years. Like I said, real or not, my red runs through my veins, my he
  11. Have you ever seen a Marine in their "Dressed Blues" uniform. OH MY GOD! Needless to say, I married a Marine. He is retired now but "Once a Marine, always a Marine"!
  12. What are y'all doing awake at this time of night...uhhh....morning? Only us law dawgs are supposed to be awake.
  13. :) Thank you JediTreeRat and Mrs. C. My Mom is getting better slowly but surely. We are hoping she will be well enough by her birthday in March to have a Christmas and Birthday celebration all together. She has been the glue that has always held our family together and I wouldn't know what to do without her.
  14. I am also guilty as charged . But....the reason I still have mine up is because the week before Christmas my Mom had a massive heart attack with quadruple bypass surgery. She has been in and out of depression and all sorts of medical issues since. I have 4 brothers and sisters that have always gotten together at Mom's house for the holiday. We have promised her that our Christmas will happen when she is well and can celebrate with us all. So, with that being said, I hope I'm not offending anyone with my decorations (mostly on the inside of the house) but it's all for the love of my mother
  15. Praying for Josh and the Lord's healing powers. God Bless.
  16. FixionWriter, That was really cute. Coming from a family with several members being in different branches of the military, it makes my heart happy to see cute stories like this. Keep them coming.
  17. Isn't that considered adultery? It is illegal but not usually prosecuted.
  18. I am a parent of an 11 year old at the same school. My son knows the boy that brought the gun to school. I would think that the reason there were not phone calls on the incident is that they did not want "mass hysteria" with the parents of all the students. I am very upset that bringing a gun to school is even an issue, but it happens every day. My understanding of the situation is that there was a young girl involved. Shooting someone over unrequited love is not the answer and it is not the end of the world if someone doesn't return you're affections. My son comes home every other week
  19. Your child just did not give you the letter. There was one sent home. I received mine.
  20. I love this one!!! I work in 911 and I don't know how many times that question has been asked by either our dispatchers or the public. I'll never be able to ask that question (yes, I have) again without thinking of you Jack
