Will you allow a food pantry to participate, rent a booth and the food drive is it going to other food pantries as well or just helping hands

Well good news so far, all kids are counted for. We just got home and the house is still standing and I've seen a few in the house but the ones on the porch are dead, I poured some ortho-chlor on it, now just have to sweep them off.

Yeah we always have them and I have seen a few this year but this morning it was like a plague had come inside. It looks kind of nasty when I came downstairs and had to pick my steps to keep from stepping on them. All over the walls and ceiling, I had thought I needed to go check and make sure they had not carried none of the kids off

I got up this morning about 4am came down stairs and was met by an army of millipedes. About a inch long every where. Walked out on the porch and there was about 1000, not an exageration. They are everywhere, on the walls, ceiling and floor. I put some bug spray on the porch and will go get some seven dust to try to ward off any more and going to spray inside. Anyone have any recommendations, I have vacuumed about four times this morning and you get to the end and turn around and they are all over the floor again. Is it just us and our magnetic personalities or what.

Yes it is, we are excited because all our money to buy food comes through fund raisers and this gives us a boost, a boost of energy and relief. Thanks again everybody who gave

We picked up our donations from the Post Office yesterday, and I say thank You to everyone who donated to the Post Office stamp out hunger. There was 3 pantries that received donations, Lighthouse, Helping Hands and another that I can't remember the name and we received 3,300 pounds each. So on behalf of Lighthouse Food Pantry and the others Thank You, this will go a long way. My hat is off to each person that supports all of our ( the food banks) efforts.

I'm just happy to find one in the bathroom, I think they eat themand when there is one I have figured my rack must be broken because it is either in the floor or on top of the trash can or toilet but never hanging up but mostly gone.

Bar B Q country ribs, mashed potatoes w garlic,cheese and bacon, mac and cheese, corn, cantalope and sweet tea

I would not worry to much about it the ears may not have finished yet, I could not hear for 6 weeks after I was born and have no problems since My 9 year old they tried that with us, sending him to all kinds of doctors because he was a premie and it turned out it was just for statistics, once we figured that out we put a stop to the investigations and he is fine. So don't worry and congratulations

no for real it hurts my feelings for her to have to do it and I still have 8-12 weeks before I can begin trying to do physical work

and I think I am ok with it I have been laid up for awhile and can't do much and she decided it was time to cut the grass and done a pretty good job My man hood is a little damaged but if she decides to do it every week I think I may recover pretty good , by the way it takes about 4 hours of hard cutting to do it

Yeah, my boys think it is cool their school was on the news and they seen the police and fire trucks, they got to go to the high school and got out of school early

Where are some cardboard recycling bins at like the ones that were at the park and ride on 61 at the fire station. Or better yet the number to the company that owns them, we throw away about a 6 yard dumpster of boxes a week and would like someone to recycle them. I have been told there are companies that set these dumpsters up and pay for the card board, if so we would put the money back into the food pantry to buy food, if not if they would just haul it off to be recycled and they keep the money. Either way we would win by not having to pay to have them hauled off and not filling the la

yes ma'am I will save you a couple bags and if I don't see you we will deliver just for you. It maybe Sunday before delivery or the first of the week. As for the yard sale we are trying to mix them up where we don't have to do as many yard sales but different fund raisers, but we will probably have one or two so we don't run one thing in the ground.

Yep and we got us a spot staked out in front of the theatre, we got our peanuts baged, our games ready and our prizes together and are looking forward to some fun The Lighthouse Food Pantry come see us, all proceeds go to purchase food for the hungry.
