There is no such regulation to pay double time on Sunday.

If it crosses state lines they can but they pretty much have to be now that it crossed an international border. Mexico deals with the Feds, not local LE. This is a high dollar theft even more so considering the other items he is linked to. It doesn't matter what the item is, the value is the important factor and a couple of the jerseys are estimated in the $500k range.

Common practice. Why is this a headline this time? -
Filing a suit and actually winning it are two different things.

PSA: UBER drivers - Read your insurance updates!

It is obvious you have no experience how this works. There are countless ways they will figure it out including when they speak directly to the passenger in regards to the claim. -
PSA: UBER drivers - Read your insurance updates!

Most of this for hire stuff was already excluded. The insurance companies are just clarifying it to make it crystal clear due to the surge in popularity. -
Why would this company have a contest like this?

Maybe they are trying to acknowledge employees who stand out over the rest. Nothing wrong with that. -
.....biased news piece as expected because their target audience will take things at face value and run to spread the 'outrage'. They are counting classroom and hands on time for everyone but LE where they only list academy time, their lengthy period of field training is not listed. The average officer completes their state mandated academy which is followed by a few weeks of additional training at their agency. They then enter the field training period at their agency where they are a subordinate assigned to an experienced training officer which lasts on average 6 months. I woul

LOL....in what world does mentally ill = not dangerous? From the safety of a keyboard I guess. In the real world it is a prominent indicator of danger, they can and will kill you with no hesitation because violence and many forms of mental illness go hand in hand. Why do you think the prisons are full of those with documented conditions well above their percentage in society?

Did anyone watch the JonBenet special last night?

Good luck with that. There are crime shows on 24/7 that culminate in conclusions not to mention the numerous books on the event. Just because you don't like the conclusion doesn't mean you have a case. -
He was The King. Golf, and the sports world in general, lost a legend.

Many things about that case cannot be explained, most notably the circumstances surrounding the ransom note. Many other things such as the DNA have been interpreted so poorly that I question if some actually understand DNA and how it transfers, especially the former DA. When she ruled out the family as suspects she made concrete conclusions from the DNA that are simply not supported. The killer was inside that house. -
Oh look who is running his suck again rambling about nothing. How surprising.

Yup. Why do I highly doubt they completely blocked the road? There would be endless complaints. To many people 'blocked' means more than 2 vehicles parked on one curb and they think they can't be inconvenienced to slow down and pass them using the remainder of the roadway.
-
Construction workers parked in the road when they built your house, your neighbors put up with it then. There is really no other way to do it. Same goes with certain deliveries and services in residential areas. That is why most residential streets are unlined because curb parking and pedestrian traffic is going to happen. I would be surprised if the county would not take the reason for the need of temporary on street parking into account before deciding a course of action.

Some people only want news that supports their agenda, such as looking daily for any negative thing they can find on the million LEOs in this country. But, post something else and you get 'why is this here'?

Just the norm in the inner cities these days.

Freddie Gray case: Charges against three remaining officers dropped

She will be lucky to stay out of prison after the disbarment process starts. -
This agenda you are driving is based on flawed reasoning. The police are the very people we send to face the daily violence in our nation. They are sent to confront violence in action and to apprehend those who have committed violent acts. Many of these people are more than willing to offer that same level of violence to those sworn to apprehend them. There are over 3000 violent crimes in this nation daily. That means 3000+ potential suspects LE is tasked with identifying and apprehending who have a history of harming or threatening harm to others. 3000+ victims who want answer and justi

There are two sides to that coin. Many have been conditioned for so long about 'race race race' they end up injecting it into every situation possible in life even where it isn't a factor. To many if _____ happens then it automatically is because of _____ even when there are countless other factors involved. Are there racist people out there? Of course, on both sides. Is it truly the key point in every interaction in life between mixed races? Absolutely not.

This is the type of hatred that is being fueled. Many get caught up with these activist groups thinking some sort of equality or fairness is their goal. The truth is the racial lines have been drawn and it isn't a one sided deal like the media portrays. These activists need to be outcasts just like the KKK is in modern society.
-
Unfortunately I believe we have turned a corner in this nation that I don't think we can come back from. This is more than a BLM vs Law Enforcement matter, the start of a full scale racial divide is here. It has been brewing, it has been prodded non-stop by politicians, the media and all the anarchist activists who salivate for unrest. I believe they are going to get their wish this time. Many people are naive and really think this hatred is isolated to the police. Wake up, these divisive hate groups despise everything this nation stands for and blame everyone else for their perceived
