So at first you implied it certainly happened as part of your rant and now your 'gut' tells you it 'may' have happened 'later'. Got it.

What Does It Mean When Something Is "FISHY"?
Ugadawgs98 replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Geez. -
I thought we were talking about ID? What you miss is the guy in the green shirt was trying to kick those people out of his house but they were refusing to leave so the cops got dispatched to the disturbance. I assume he asks if everyone is a student on campus to determine if everyone lived nearby. The girl says she is a student of Ohio State which is a good distance away. He asks for her ID and she says it is at the house she lives in down the street. He questions that and she then changes her story to say she is also a student of the local college. That would make any cop wonder

How so? Are you really saying you think if a woman is not holding a purse it is certain she does not have an ID with her or near her?

Why didn't you just add this to the other dozen threads you have on the topic? You truly need your own forum. -
The first one is a standard post arrest search. Anytime there is an arrest the person is or should be searched in the manner before placed in the car. The second should not have happened, is not normal practice, and cost both of those troopers their jobs.

You can most certainly buy a gun for someone else as a gift as long as you have no knowledge they are a prohibited person. However, you cannot be the middle man for someone buying a gun if they are providing the finances no matter if they are a prohibited person or not, that makes it a straw purchase.

So you think the collisions in today's game are not more violent than they were back in the day? Simple watching a current game and a classic game can answer that even for the most basic fan. The speed and strength of players today doesn't even compare with that of players in the classic era. The athletes in the game today who benefit from years of formal practice, speed conditioning and weight training put them head and shoulders above what was fielded in the infancy of the game.
-
They are simply reacting to the changes of the game. Today's football is dramatically different from the past. The size, strength and speed of today's players is simply resulting in collisions with forces the game has rarely seen. Even with better protection equipment players are sustaining more serious injury than any time in the history of the game.

I have a feeling "alcohol may be a factor" which means the groom will probably face a vehicular manslaughter charge in the near future. The WSB video shows black marks starting at the stop sign that move sideways and diagonal before going forward that are consistent with someone burning out when taking of from a stop. After the vehicle enters the roadway it immediately loops around and goes off road into the ravine. He simply lost control driving recklessly.

They should draft nothing but O linemen. You can have the best QB and RB in the world and without blocking they will do nothing. Ryan can't do much from his back.

Construction zones are more than just about the workers; it also factors in equipment, changes in traffic flow due to lane modification or shoulders, ect.

Strange as usual. Anyway, watching Tony play was a joy. He is truly a special talent and the best TE to ever play the game. Falcon's fans should be honored to have him play.

As above....good luck. You can't even find a 1 bed room apartment for that.

It's not....I was speaking to the person complaining about the speed limit on 278. ...or just maybe they are trying to slow traffic to the speed limit before it reaches two of the more dangerous intersections in the city....278 @ Walmart and 278/92. It is their job after all.
-
Of course they do, however, GDOT engineers make the final decision based on a variety of factors. I'm this case lowering the limit probably won't help much. Traffic congestion pretty much prevented anyone for reaching the speed limit anyway in peak hours. Most of your rush hour and evening collisions probably were not related to speed but instead yielding and traffic signals, problems that will still be there no matter the speed limit.
-
45 will be plenty for the new connector due to the congestion it will have just like it is with Bill Carruth Pkwy. ....and Paulding DOT or Hiram PD have nothing to do with the speed limit on state highways running through their city.

Could you put this all in on thread. Maybe one thread on the Douglas DA, one on ethics and one on Zell Miller/school tax? -
People act like country is the only genre that changed over time. Fact is they all do. People who love the 90's Garth style are called out by those who love the 80's Clint Black and Ricky Van Shelton style. Those people are looked down on by the people who loved the 70's outlaw stuff because that shift killed it. Those who like the 70's outlaw movement are looked down on by fans of Chet Atkins and Tennessee Earnie Ford who are sure their era were the roots of country. This is just another page.
