  1. They are on the aisle where you find the other bread crumbs. Panko is all I use...they are fabulous and make everything VERY crispy! You'll never want to go back to the other bread crumbs if you try them once.
  2. I know she deserved to win but I'm still sad. I just don't like her. (I know that thinking is incorrect but I still can't help it.)
  3. We've been to McKinney and also Tanner Lake many times and like them both. Also Victoria Campground which is also on Lake Allatoona/Lake Acworth. (it is very small though)
  4. That sounds realllly good! I have everything so I'm making this tomorrow!
  5. Steak sandwiches and onion rings. (french fries for the onion hater. ) Here's the recipe for the steak sandwiches. Much better than the frozen boxed stuff. http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2007/06/marlboro_mans_f/ Loaded them with carmelized onions and tons of cheese. (Mozz, Provolone, Swiss, etc) You can add sauteed bell peppers and mushrooms too if you want. Sooooo good. Served them on fresh bakery hoagie rolls with mayo.
  6. Potato soup, esp. "Best Ever Potato Soup" from Taste of Home magazine. It really is the best ever. (with homemade yeast rolls or crusty french bread)
  7. Oh son of a dog....I really wanted to see it tonight! But we've got it being taped so I guess I'll wait til tomorrow. I really wanted to see Shelly go though! Actually I wouldn't have been unhappy with Rachael leaving either. "Nobody gets between me and my man". Puke up.
  8. Hope you're feeling better soon! I never had morning sickness (had a boy)...but I got queasy every day for the first 3 months at exactly 4pm and it lasted until I went to sleep. (never hurled though) I could only eat 3 things during the first 3 mos: Pink Grapefruit, plums and watermelon. Then from 3 mos til 6 mos all I wanted was Taco Bell. (bean burritos with green sauce, minus red sauce!) Any meat cooking, esp in a red sauce (like sloppy joes, spaghetti, etc) made me instantly nauseous again. I still don't eat red sauce except for a couple times a year in very small amounts. Dont ever le
  9. Tuna noodle casserole. (embellished) Make one pkg of Kraft Homestyle Mac-n-cheese according to directions. Pour into a greased casserole with a couple cans (I used 3) of drained tuna, a couple handfuls (about a cup) of frozen peas (nuked in mircrowave first) Mix it all together. Then I crushed up some plain potato chips(Pringles) and sprinkled on top. (I actually doubled the recipe by adding more elbow macaroni, cheese, milk and tuna) Then I poured it into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 425 for like 15-20 minutes, until hot and bubbly, and the potato chip topping is browned. You can use French fried o
  10. Many prayers for this family.
  11. St. Ann's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. (when you could live there and drive around with your car doors unlocked) I don't think my bank has this information so hopefully I am safe.
  12. The PetSmart in Hiram sells certain flea meds that used to be available only at Veterinarians offices. (or online) Frontline Plus is one, but they do have others....just can't remember the names right now, but I saw them there last week. Maybe Revolution is one of them? (they were on a display near the front door, on the main aisle, as soon as you walked in the door)
  13. Neither. Went to the last Dr. appt and since I was 4 days past due they induced. No C section, but that would have been nice perhaps, considering the alternative.
  14. I had just one shot to get it right but the boy slept only on his tummy, and ate homemade baby food. (except when we were traveling) But he loved mashed potatoes and gravy at Thanksgiving when he was just 4 mos old. I was pretty young and dumb then, but he survived just fine, thankfully. (and he even had ice cream too. Ugh, bad mommy!) I'm so glad he survived my ignorance.
  15. Our dog has been on Frontline Plus since we got her 8 years ago and never had a problem. (except when we went to FLORIDA last year for about 10 days) Had to take her to the vet there who perscribed Comfortis, because the infestation was so bad. It was crazy. Havnt had a problem since and we live on 2 acres. She's still on Frontlne Plus now and there's no fleas, however we keep the yards mowed religiously. (although she's mainly an indoor dog) Maybe that has something to do with it? Not sure. Oh and the Dawn thing didn't work for us but I'm glad to hear it works for others. The vet even sai
  16. Oh wow, Brenda and Mark just jumped from 46% to 47% in less than a minute. I think the smackdown is on. Better get to voting everyone!
  17. I voted once through IE and then went back to vote more times but it wouldn't let me. : ( But, I just now went back in using Google Chrome and it let me vote again. Btw, I kinda feel bad for that last couple with zero percent of the votes. Omg, they dont know even one person who will vote for them!? I feel so bad for them.
  18. I am craving a tomato sammie!! But we only have one puny one left. We had grilled pork chops (with John Boy & Billy's sauce) mac n cheese(out of a box), pinto beans (out of a can)and garden salad. (out of a bag) I go all out for my fam.
  19. Costa Rica is fab. Visited there 6 times at least. The weather is a perfect 75 degrees year round and the surfing and fishing are great. The bananas and pineapple, etc taste nothing like we get here--they are amazing. It's a wonderful experience.
  20. I so agree. You'd think she'd be angry and hostile after everything that happened, but she was just so gentle and seemingly at peace in spite of it all. It was so touching. I can't wait to read her book.
  21. Our son started flapping about an ear piercing too at about age 14. I couldn't even imagine it and was totally horrified. His dad (former USMC) just calmly said "Son, you can have your ear pierced if you want.... but only after you have your t***icles pierced first. And there must be a chain connecting the two so I can yank on it every day to remind you of your decision." (or something crazy like that) The boy yelled out, "Dad, I'M NOT DOING THAT!" and that was the last time it ever came up. He also wanted a tattoo but that was shut down as well. Now our boy is in the USMC himself and very h
  22. I know how hard this is and I empathize with you totally! But believe me when I say that it's just something you have to get through. When he is 8, 10, 12, etc you'll never even remember these things. I suffered severe PPD when my son was born and then made it worse because I tried to do it "all" and never took any help or advice that was offered. I thought I could be the perfect parent. And since I wanted the perfect house and family, I never slept when the baby slept. I spent that time cooking and cleaning and doing laundry. People would call on the phone and I would burst into tears a
  23. Ours was $111 last month and $140 this month. (2000 sq. ft.) But I checked the bill for this month last year and it was $210. We weatherized the house a few months ago, however (insulation and a few other things) so I guess that is what accounts for the difference, thank God. Don't know what ppl did before A/C...wierd to think about, although growing up, we didn't have it and that was in Florida. But nobody we knew had it either. I think it was in the '70's sometime that it became popular and we finally got A/C. (and the window units were pitched aside!)
  24. My sister makes this too and it is sooo good! The one with the caramelized bananas sounds awesome as well!

    Big Baby

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/upshot/big-birth-announcement-couple-welcomes-16-pound-baby-201325980.html Ouch. Thats a toddler, I think. I had to run and check my son's baby book and he didn't get to 16 lbs until he was 5 mos old. (and he was born at almost 9 lbs.) And 24 inches long??? Wow. I had to mull that over several times. I kept saying, "24 inches? Wow, that's two feet. Thats TWO FEET!?" I don't think that kid will be bullied very much in school. But wow, that poor woman. Thank goodness for C-sections. That would be great to be able to skip diapers almost, and go directly to Pull U
