Wow! Not one of you said anything about Ft. Sumter! The fort was were the firs shot was fired starting the Civil War. It's a really interesting place. Also, there are night harbor dinner cruises that would be great for your first anniversary. The whole city is so romantic and beautiful. (I was born and raised there! Love the place!) I just love walking thru the city. The College of Charleston is there. Oh, and of course the battery. One very important thing to keep in mind .... plan to walk everywhere you go....it's a terrible place to drive!!! Have a wonderful time!

I love my Vizio!!! I got it at Sam's last October. It's a 47 inch.

Mom and I went to J-Rod's for an early supper today. Everyone there was so nice. Our waitress Tara was one of the best waitresses I've had in a long time. We met J-Rod himself and asked him about having half serving size meals. He said he'd be happy to have them available, just ask! My mom had the BLT sandwich and fries, and I had the country fried steak, from scratch mashed potatoes, and fried okra. Wow! It was all so good and huge servings! Nothing was greasy either!!! Mom and I really enjoyed our meal and the people there. We will be going back.

I watched True Blood but DVR'd both of these shows to watch later. True Blood was fantastic!

Well, I loved it! It's going to be a great season! Love me some Eric!!! Oh, and all of you who haven't read the books ....they are great! Worth every minute of reading!

Just got a notice on FB to got to HBO.com 15 minutes before it starts tonight for a special preshow. I know I'll be heading there first!

The new season of True Blood starts tonight at 9 p.m. on HBO!!!!! I can't wait!!!! I've missed Eric so!

I love my Garmin so much that I got the kids their own for Christmas!

As I sit here typing I usually hear buses picking up the neighborhood kids. This morning is so quiet. I wish all the kids and school staff a happy summer vacation!

Mine is the Won't let anyone else touch my computer!

So you have heard all the good and bad. I'm just putting in that I love my Direct TV. Have had it now for a couple of years. Only loose it once in a great while during really bad storms for a couple of minutes. Had cable for years and hated it! It went out a lot more than Direct ever has.

Way to go Sandy! You are a class act!

That's sad. I'll miss her! Only one "Golden Girl" left. Rest in Peace Rue.

Zumba is far from cheezy and it's a great workout! It's also lots of fun! Try it you will like it!

Hopefully someone will give me some feedback. I can't be the only one who bought this phone, can I? The only thing I don't like so far is I can't see the screen in bright light. There's gotta be a way to change that....just haven't figured it out yet.

Not sure if I want to watch this movie or not. I have it ready to DVR in a few minutes. My son and son-in-law are both in the military. Son got back from his 2nd tour of Iraq in October and son-in-law just got back from Afganastan. I will try to watch it but I don't think I'll even say a word about watching it to my husband. I think it may be too close to home for both of us.

I use Tony Chachere's Cajun Seasoning on everything! Love it!

I didn't like the book at all. When I finally made it to the end I just sat there and said why? I didn't see the movie because of that!

It's about the inner workings of the circus when they used to travel by train. It is a fantastic book. You can get it from the library or buy a copy. I did both! Robert Pattinson is perfect for the part!

I just found out that a movie is being made of my favorite book Water for Elephants! AND it's staring Robert Pattinson!!! Now the only problem is it's just being filmed .... I have to wait until it comes to the theater and who knows how long that will be!!! Ugh!!!
