  1. Everybody know Paudling County doesn't have any crime!!!

For such a growing county, we are way behind the times. Cobb County has a public info release section on their website. They list some stuff that happens. Even though it's not updated frequently, at least it's still there.

The ONLY way that the people in PC know what's happening is through Paulding.com.

Thanks, Pubby, for all that you do!!

  2. There's not much extra to spend, but I spend it on my grandson and scrapbook supplies. I hardly ever pay full price for anything. My best friend, who actually has a LOT of money, has taught me how to find the bargains.

Once I lose all this weight (so far I've lost 10 pounds since 01/01), I will want to spend more on clothes for myself. I love clothes, but can't find anything that looks good in big sizes. I will definitely be at Marshall's and Ross when all the weight comes off.

  3. My best friend and I have no secrets. We talk about anything and everything. My husband was shocked at first to find out just how much we tell each other!! We've been best friends for almost 20 years and we've been though hell and back together.

  4. horses are the most wonderful creatures to grace this planet

My husband would agree with you. He's always loved to ride. We have friends who have horses and he spent a lot of time at their place last summer. They sometimes board and train horse. They had one that my husband was working with. He's been thrown off that horse 3 times. One time he looked like he'd been beaten by the horse instead of just thrown off. It didn't bother him, though. He'd get right back on. He sure does love that horse!!

  5. I used to watch this one!! I started watching with my grandmother when I was just a little kid. I remember when it was on for 30 minutes instead of an hour. It's been a long time since I've watched. I used to tape it, but it was taking up too much time when I was in school. I always watch if I'm home sick or taking a vacation day!! I don't know much about the current story line, but I've never liked Dixie! She was always too much of a goody-goody!! The last time I watched, it seemed like she was no longer the goody-goody that she used to be!!

Also, there was talk about Bianca having a child. How did that happen?? Isn't she gay? Who is the father?

  6. How old is he? My daughter has bought my 19-month-old grandson a potty chair. He likes to go stand beside his daddy when daddy pees. She said it's so cute to watch and he wants to do everything that his daddy does. She thought it might be good to get him used to the idea. So far, he just likes to drag the potty chair around and sit on it to watch TV. I thought he was a little young, but both my girls were potty trained by the time they were 2.

  7. Scoggins Road Motorcycle wreck fatal

I came in on the middle of this, but there's been a motorcycle accident on Scoggins Road.

  8. My oldest was involved with PC Juvenile Court by the age of 12. One time, my youngest took a very expensive piece of my jewelry without permission. I immediately took her to the sheriff's office and let Joan Strickland have a little talk with her. Scared the ever lovin' daylights out of her. She never, ever did that again or anything else for that matter. She was as close to perfect as a child can be. It certainly taught her a lesson. However, my oldest didn't get it until she turned 18, when I packed her stuff and put her out.

Unfortunately, it was a year later that I learned the real story behind her behavior. A lot of kid misbehave because they are just brats. Others, like my daughter, have a much more serious issue and just don't know how to handle it.

I wish PC did have a program that could help the "brats" see what life can be like if they don't straighten up.

IMO, I think it would be a good idea to get with the sheriff's department and see if they'd be willing to have you bring your son to them and let them have a little chat with him!!
