If I said what I really wanted to say regarding your statement, I would be banned from this wonderful land of PCOM. So, I will bite my tongue and walk out of this thread.

Larry was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really angry. She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less than 6 seconds...AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!!" The next morning Larry got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and, sure enough there was a gift-box for her wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe, ran out to the driveway and brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Lar

I know -- My brain cannot even wrap around the idea of having a family member in a coma for 20+ years....the 3 weeks that I dealth with seemed like an eternity -- cannot imagine years of it.

How incredibly sad I am so sorry for the student and his parents. I hope the school and PCSO will do the right thing for this family.

I know what you mean...I cannot even begin to imagine the sheer terror of being trapped inside your own body -- trying to move -- trying to let anybody know that you are in there -- and having them not hear you. How scary

An engineering student thought to be in a coma for 23 years was actually conscious the whole time, it has emerged. Rom Houben was misdiagnosed as being in a vegetative state after a car crash left him totally paralyzed. I am not positive -- but i think those are ones that were there prior to the switchover to the new PCOM. I might be wrong though....I have those on older messages as well.

I am the football/UFC/sports junky in my house -- I tend to get a bit physical and verbal while watching sporting events I have been known to hit people that was sitting a bit close during UFC

One time somebody was riding my butt really close. The road opened into 2 lanes and we ended up at a redlight side by side. I rolled down my window and asked him what time was dinner? He looked at me like I was crazy. I told him if he was going to ride up my @$$ the least he could do is buy me dinner first.

Yeppers -- it would be a great thing....just really hoping it happens

Ummmm did you miss the part of the thread that said a woman WAS attacked?!?!?!?!?!? Good Lawd! You are so worked up about "defending" the breed -- you haven't even inquired about the person that was attacked - nor shown any concern for the safety of anyone else in the proximity of this dog -- nevermind the breed -- how about some common sense and compassion for the person who was injured ?!?!?! Geez! I hope and pray the injured person will be okay. I also hope this dog is caught so nobody else gets hurt.
