OK, sooo you think that he may have been lying when he reported those guns stolen?? That's a crime in itself to file a false police report AND lying to an officer of the law. He is no better than the average joe and he should be charged as anyone else, would have!!! That still don't explain the illegal possession of the seized drug money, that he was caught with. Still should be charged with this as well as the above charges/issues!!!!! Yes, it seems fishy that there were no signs of a "break-in" but, with all of his other shady dealings, you just can't trust the dude!!!

Since he WAS in "illegal possession" of seized drug money, (wouldn't that be "theft by taking?" Or something similar?) you'd think that he would have the guns seized as well. Weren't the stolen guns the property of Douglas Co, anyway??? Maybe county issued?? What makes you think he would/should be entitled to get them back?

I didn't know that East Hiram Pkwy was being referred to as "Bill Carruth Pkwy" I'm so sick of Paulding Co renaming the roads, just because they think someone who did great wonders for the county, needs to have a road named after them!!!! NOT!!!!! Dedicate a bench at the Courthouse Park or a room at the Taj Mahal Courthouse we have but, leave the road names as Road Names!!!! AND.... Why was fool not in jail??? If he was accused of the murder (or whatever the charges should be) of Topper, why was he not in jail???

My daughter cooks cube steak like this, she will fry the meat very lightly with garlic salt, salt & pepper, take the meat out of the pan and drain, make a pan of gravy in the leftover oil/drippings. Put the meat and the gravy in a larger casserole dish, cover the meat with the gravy and bake for about 45-55 minutes. Or until the meat is done. It's really good and cooking it in the oven makes the meat tender. I just can't eat this that often because I would eat too much!!! It is soooo good!!

Kathie has been on my mind and in my heart these last 2 weeks. I miss her and It bumfuzzles me as to WHY she really passed away. Was it something to do with her ER visit the week before?? Was it something with her heart??? We'll never know but, I just wonder "IF" she had gone to Kennestone the week before, would they have found out what was really wrong with her? I have a gripe with them (The Board of Commissioners) WHY can't they hold their meetings in the so called "Cafeteria" instead of that SMALL room they occupy now, for the meetings. Lord knows they (BOC's) won't give the citizens of Paulding Co, a meeting room that is big enough for the citizens to be comfortable in. I went to a BOC's meeting one morning and I could NOT even see thru the little windows that are in the doors of the meeting room, because there were so many people standing up. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Firehouse Subs but, they are just too expensive for us to eat there very often. Jason's Deli on Barrett Pkwy is delicious, also!!! They have a good Reuben Sandwich.

Yep, it's a shame that people don't have their priorities in the right order. We see this all the time and hubby is just a pointing his finger., saying........ A Costco would be nice but, NOT so good for Sam's Club!! I looked at that planagram as you call it, quite often, trying to see if there had been any changes and I don't recall ever seeing a Krispy Kreme in the strip center, on that web site. I could have missed it but, I kept a pretty good check on it daily, for any changes in the plans. But, that's a good thing it didn't happen, though. I'd gain back all my weight that I have lost, if a KK came to Hiram!!

That Judge that wants to bring back the firing squad for Murderers, has my vote!!!! If the courts would start imposing the maximum punishment and sentences, then we'd more than likely see a big decline in crimes. The restaurants that have those signs on their front door, that says "GUNS ARE WELCOME", they have seen an increase in the number of customers coming into their businesses.
