I've tried going to their web page but can't get it to come up. Last year was not our best experience there so I've been thinking about getting a White Water season pass instead of SVB. But thought I would just "see" what they are offering for this summer. I would hate to see it closed completely but they can't have another season like last year. Since my husband and I are "couponing"...we buy 6 Sunday papers each week. Therefore we have quite a collection of old papers. Does anyone know of a recycle dumpster for newspapers? Thanks for letting me know where I can dump these, I just hate to throw them away.

I haven't really had time to read through all the rules on here, but do you have to be a paying member to advertise a yard sale?? I went to the yard sale forum but I wasn't able to post anything.

I've saw something like that today at the DMV in Cartersville today. And the mom was just standing there like NOTHING was happening between her daughter and b-friend. And then yesterday I was in a grocery store here in town and saw another couple who were acting in the same fashion!!! I just don't know what is wrong with parents letting their children act like animals out in public. What kind of parents are these kids going to grow up to be like??

There weren't nearly the absences that you would have thought. Just a few extra out here and there but over all everything at my school was normal and most kids did come!!

So how are the roads??? We haven't been out since about 5:30. Our deck is covered and I haven't seen many people going down our street either.

You could have it at your house if all else fails and have it like a "drop in" thing! I did this for one of our parties,cause our house isn't large enough to accomodate everyone at one time. The only disadvantage would be singing Happy Birthday and watching the baby dig into the cake. You would have to decide when to do that part. Hope you can figure out something. I've got a 2 year old party coming up in March and don't have a clue what I'm going to do.
