  1. You are EVIL. What do you do on the weekend, torture puppies?
  2. I was offered drugs during my last test to get my heart rate up instead of using the treadmill. I declined, but I will probably say yes on the next test.
  3. Don't yell like that again - you scared me.
  4. I always liked and respected him. More here; http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/27/arts/27linkletter.html?src=me
  5. For me, it would all come down to whether or not there was a chance for a promotion in the company that would pay more. If so, I would probably interview and take the job if offered. If not, I'm staying home so as not to waste their time or mine.
  6. I receive a free sample of True lemon in the mail and after trying it in a glass of iced tea I was hooked. I have always like lemon in my tea but hated the hassle of buying and cutting them up. I would say that it is about 90% as good as a fresh lemon. You can request a free sample here. http://www.truelemon...ree-sample.html
  7. Check this out: http://www.paulding.gov/index.aspx?NID=217
  8. The eye candy boy was my favorite performer, but Crystal is a close second. I hope she wins, but it is going to be close.
  9. I agree with NC-17. One other question: have you tried resetting it by pushing and holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears? As far as repair goes, for most small consumer electronics it will probably cost more to repair than it is worth when it comes to replacing damaged parts. It's sad, but most of these small devices are made to be throw away items.
  10. Greystone Power has them for $26. http://www.greystonepower.com/article_tickets.asp
  11. I have received two PM's that were helpful - a big thanks to these two pcommers. If any of the Monday crowd has tips, suggestions, horror stories, etc.., it would be much appreciated.
  12. From the United States Copyright Office: http://www.copyright.gov/fls/fl122.html
  13. WEP can be cracked in under a minute. However, the odds are really slim that someone with sufficient knowledge and the desire to access your network will be within range. WPA or WPA2 is the preferred way to go. When you set the router up, make sure that you turn on WPA or WPA2 encryption. As part of the set-up, you will be asked to provide a password. Use something difficult for the password. Do not use a dictionary word or something like your phone number. Assume that someone wants to hack into your network. Use a password that they will never guess. Also, you need to change the default n
  14. When the show first started in 2004, I watched a few episodes and decided that the pace was to slow to suit my taste. Around this time last year, I watched all of the previous seasons to get caught up. I sort of feel that I "Lost" and wasted alot of time watching given tonights finale. Another thing that irritated me was that the producers are apparently two cheap to pay someone 50 bucks to explain how an airplane works. A hydraulic line cannot be repaired with duct tape since the pressure is around 3000 psi. It would blow a hole right through the tape immediately. Also, large aircraft eng
  15. The strange name is the result of a merger between the fifth national bank and the third national bank in 1908. I'm still hoping that Fed-Ex and UPS will merge and name the new company Fed-Up.
  16. I'm not sure if we have ever met, but I certainly enjoy reading her posts. Give that girl a mayberry.
  17. It looks like I will soon become involved with setting up a booster club for my daughter's high school chorus. If anyone has experience with setting one up or serving as an officer, I would love to pick your brain. (Preferably a band, chorus, or drama club). If you can help me out, send me a PM or call me at 404-234-2704. Thanks, Mike
  18. Windows 7 seemed to greatly simplify printer sharing. If it was Vista, you would probably be bald by now.
  19. Man you are tough and I like it. Can we run you for a political office?
  20. Good question. I did not even notice the "bad language" in the upper right hand corner of the link I posted. Sorry if anyone was offended, but I'm going to leave the link because I think the page illustrates things that people might not be aware of. As for the pop-up, I would probably go to the AV manufacturers site and see if there is a forum that might mention this issue. My guess is that the reclaim privacy site is so new that the AV vendor is improperly identifying it as malicious.
  21. I'm always have a cautious initial reaction to tools like this. (How do I know these guys are not going to hack my account)? After a little research, I feel good about this service. You can read more about it here: http://www.pcworld.com/article/196910/must_facebook_and_privacy_be_like_oil_and_water.html Hats off to LTD - I think this is a winner even though they admit that there is still more work to do to improve the tool.
  22. You’d be shocked with all the things that Facebook is willing to share with the world. Even if you think you’re account is “locked down.” Will Moffat has written a Facebook search site that uses Facebook’s open source API to allow users to find out what Facebook is really doing with your information and content.
