Prayers going up for the family. My hubby and dad drove big rigs for many many years. I have lived that life of worrying about this very type of thing happening to both of them.

I was raised by a family of smokers and my hubby smokes. I have never had the desire to do this, but it doesn't bother me either. Honestly, I prefer for him to smoke a cigar or pipe rather than cigarettes. I like having the choice between smoking and non smoking sections of a resturant. We used to switch off to be fair to everyone in our family. The cost is about to get hubby to the point of quitting smoking...at which point I will be begging for a temporary place for the kids,me, bird, and dogs to stay for a couple of weeks. I think folks need to ease up on all the restrictions s

Me: Nope, not all all. I absolutely hate the way I look. My main issue is my weight...which I have worked on over the summer. I actually have gotten into a pair of capris and shorts this summer...more than I did last year. My weight is very unhealthy which is a big problem for me since I have health problems that prevent me from loosing it as fast as I would like and that causes more frustration. Hubby, he loves me for me and understands my health concerns and is very supportive of my efforts. I'm working on things though.

I saw the other day that your building is for sale. Does this mean you are going out of business or just moving? Just wondering.

I highly recommend Dr. Woods in Dallas. He recently added a dr. to his practice that will see younger kids. My 3 yo DD has an appt with the new dr. this Friday. PM if you want his phone number.

Would a professional car detailer be the best thing for me to do??? If I had the money for that?

I had a gallon of sweet tea to spill out into the back of my blazer. Apparently, it happened either Sat. night or Sunday. Can I just go to the local car wash and vaccum it out or will I need to take more drastic measures? I really can't afford to spend the money to have it detailed. But I can't do nothing either. TIA

I can't off you any legal advice but I have something for you to think about. Have you all thought about having the body cremated so that the family from out of state could take some of the ashes with them and have a memorial service there and thei minor child and family here can keep some ashes here and have a memorial service here? If money is a problem, you can purchase realitively inexpensive urns. I will keep your family in my prayers and I hope everything works out.

Thanks for the ideas. I will try to hunt down on of those trays and see what we can get up. This is the 9th ear surgery between both kids but the first one that had an activity restriction. The nurse practioner said she could go back to her school the next day, but I'm planning in DD staying home....just to make sure.

I'm also waiting on Sage to return. The birthday money is stuck back and waiting. Only thing to decide is which tattoo I'm getting.

We went out for donuts for breakfast, I took DH by the latest house that Shawna has shown to me and now I'm suppose to be finishing up my last grad school requirment. DH and DD are taking a nap while DS is reading a book for his honors lit class...summer reading requirement. Later this evening, we are meeting DS's girlfriend and her family at Stone Mtn. to watch the laser show. Oh, DH did finish fixing our AC. I am sooo glad I have a handyman in the house . What is going on at Taylor Farm Park this evening??????

I took my 3 year old to the ENT yesterday and we were told that she will be having her adnoids removed and a 2nd set of tubes put in on this upcoming Wed.. Well, they also said that she is to have no strenuous activity for one week. When I asked them, they couldn't give me a real answer...just no outside playground at her school. So, what does Pcom consider strenuous activity for a 3 year old? If they want me to keep her calm and in front of the tv for a week...they have another thing coming. The child is Never still.

Congrats to you and to them. If it helps any, DH and I met on line, dated 3 months and got married. That was almost 10 years ago and we are going strong. I wish them the best.
