Most municipalities are not allowed to escort people. I know in Cobb, they are not. The fact remains that the man was IN THE WRONG. He was doing almost double the posted speed limit in a school zone. And the argument about having to wait the 10 mins it would have taken for the ambulance to arrive is null and void as the man made his wife wait while he drove home from work to get her. He could have had an ambulance en route and met her at the hospital.

sooo...if it were your child that got hit by a speeder in a school zone, you would be totally ok with that right? let the guy off the hook because he CHOSE not to call an ambulance? Ok...yeah, right
