  1. I'm interested to know what your thoughts on this are. Photo of Infant Left Alone in Locked Car Goes Uber Viral By Melissa Knowles | Trending Now – Tue, Mar 26, 2013 A photograph taken in New Zealand is causing quite an uproar around the world. The photo at the center of the controversy is of an infant asleep in a car seat locked alone inside a car. A note, seemingly written from the baby's perspective, is attached to the chest and reads, "my mums in doing the shopping, call her if I need anything." There is a phone number written at the end. A couple who saw the baby in the car
  2. Yes me too. They need to get a life!!
  3. Same here. I'm a huge crier. If I see someone else crying, I will usually cry.
  4. ^^^What he said. When it comes to your children, I fully believe you should support them in any way you can. Notice the word support, and try not to get it confused with enabling. The more money you shell out for him, the more he's going to come to expect it. He's a big boy, it's time he learn for himself that there are consequences for his actions. On another note, you being a concerned parent shows that you do care for him and his well being. Hopefully your son can see that.
  5. Lol, that's just how Facebook is. If you don't have many friends, Facebook will recommend people to build up your friends list. If you don't have any friends on your list, there's no point in having Facebook because you won't have a newsfeed. It's a really good tool for staying in touch with friends and family you don't always get to see all the time as well as the ones you do see, by sharing pictures, links, and whatever else is going on in your life. Hope you have fun with it and welcome to th 21st century!
  6. I'm wondering if it was just one of those FB pictures/ posts that gets shared a hundred times over and this person felt the need to come on Pcom to share it because he thought it was legit and possibly local. Probably didn't even happen around here, if it even happened at all. When the OP realized this, he bailed. That's what I'm thinkin.
  7. Probably for a week or so. When I was living in my grandfathers condo a few yars back, a squirrel had gotten its way into the chimney. He was stuck between the siding and the chimney flue. I could hear him for days scratching in there but unless we tore the chimney apart we couldn't get to him. Finally after a few days I didn't hear anything and then it was followed by a very foul smell. My grandfather decided to light a fire in the fireplace for a while (mind you this was the middle of summer), and threw in a few incense cones for good measure, LOL. He did this a few days in a row and it
  8. Um, what is going on with this thread? Why'd the OP delete his posts??
  9. Reese's Eggs!!! Hands down the best. No competitions
  10. Exactly. I don't think I've ever seen a post in any thread where she's given her stance or opinion on the particular subject matter of an article or thread, whether it's posted by her or not. Instead, she responds with a condescending remark, or claiming that you didn't read it correctly, or that you clearly don't understand it, or that's not what the experts/scientists said or not what the data shows, or some other snide comment. It gets unbelievably old after a while. I really and truly would like to see detailed and specific opinions in her responses to a subject once in a while instead
  11. Yes, preferably with tequila and a lime.
  12. Now it's picking up and I hear thunder. Looked ar radar, we're gonna get some bad thunderstorms thru the night. Are sirens used for more than just tornadoes now a days?
  13. NinaBritt

    Siren?

Sirens going off in Dallas. There's only a drizzle here.
  14. Hmmm, and what could have resulted in those budget cuts?? It couldn't be the economy could it??
  15. Yes, I've noticed that too. It's not just with pizza. Other places seem to have minimized their portions as well. Gotta turn a profit while keeping those prices low.
  16. Aww, what a cutie! Next take one while she's awake so we can see those big beautiful eyes.
  17. Yes, sometimes the tiredness can last for the whole day after. It takes a while to get my energy back. And I totally black out when I have one, don't remember a thing! I go from being fine (with the exception of a little tiredness), to blacking out, to waking up with people gathered around me asking "Are you okay?" and I'm just thinking WTH just happened?? LOL. I've learned to deal with them though. My last one was a little over a year ago and I've only had about 5 or 6 in my whole life. Your brother's in my prayers as well as you Rhonda.
