Okay I just heard sirens going off in Dallas. I know they test them once a month, but I thought that was the first Wednesday of each month. Today is Wed. but not the first one of the month. Have they changed this? Btw, I at 278/ Buchanan hwy area.

Well I guess in exchange for the warm weather we received recently, I will accept this cold weather now. But I can't wait for the SPRING weather!!

I agree with the bolded. And honestly, it doesn't really matter to me either way. My husband and I aren't big drinkers, Sunday sales (or no sales) wouldn't affect us in the slightest. Our vote was to say NO to more government regulation.

We voted YES. Went to courthouse and there was nobody there. I'm curious to know what the final turnout will be for this vote.

Exactly. I've always felt that if the state, county, city, etc. needs extra money to fund a specific program or facet of the government that they need to either lower spending or redo their budget. Raising taxes is not the solution. -

Maybe there will be more people in the evening, after work or school, probably just before they close the polls. Hubby and I are planning on going up there in a couple hours.

Just had some rain pass through a little while ago. Looks like we will get more in the evening hours.

Harry's Whole Foods actually has a wide variety of cheeses. Whenever the hubby and I make the trek out there we always make sure to pick up a few different cheeses. There's a few Cabot cheddars that he likes and I like to get goat cheeses. I'm sure of any place around here but I would love to know too.

Other than having the thought of "Oh my Gawd, I'm 30! I'm getting old", turning 30 was just another day, at least for me anyway. You can come to that point in your life at any age.

Well that was just a little over a year ago for me. I was pregnant and then had my son. Unemployed and scared of what our future will be like, husband back in school, raising our little one. I definitely have hope things will get better for us in time. I look forward to raising my son and watching him grow through the years.
