  2. I saw this on FB. I love what this mother did! I don't think it was too harsh at all. Very good way to teach her a lesson. Teenagers need to know that there will be consequences for their actions. I hope she learns to take some responsibility. My favorite part is the last 5 sentences. Lucky, your link didn't work so I posted a picture from FB.
  3. Thanks for posting that Low. Very informative and very interesting. It was worth watching. Our healthcare problems are definitely more complex than some may think.

  6. Guess she got tired of hearing "Witchy Woman" over and over again. Alcohol and PMS don't mix.
  7. I think she was just adding her own lesson on how to be happy. I don't think it was directed at anyone specifically. But I could be wrong.
  8. You and everyone else on the planet.
  9. STOP worrying about what everyone else is thinking or doing, and only focus on what you need to do. Have some integrity for goodness sake. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree. Life is too short for long pity parties. In the words of Morgan Freeman, "Get busy living, or get busy dying." No one is in charge of your happiness except you. Life isn't fair. Get over it. And most importantly, always remember to wear sunscreen.
  10. Oh she is. And the sad part, is that her body looks similar to a prepubescent boy. She is so thin, has no curves, and it's just not attractive at all. Seems like she may attract more pedophiles than adult men, IMHO. Honestly, this girl is messed up.
  11. Sending a thank you card/email after an interview can help your chances of getting hired. It's always a good idea to do no matter what the position. It makes you stand out or could give you an advantage when your in the mix with many other interviewees. It send the message to the company that you are serious about advancing your career. It also is a nice gesture that the company will most likely appreciate. I guess it's kind of a new thing. This was something I learned in one of my college courses I was required to take before graduating, to help get us prepared for job searching in t

  15. I'd love to go with the hubby to try it out, but those prices just seem a bit high to me. Glad you liked it though.
  16. Momof3, you were totally right! (see post #107)
  17. Yup. It is one of the stations that has an exception. I started looking for cities that started with a letter W or K and was only 4 letters, and found that one. There is another one is Massachusetts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WACO-FM I'm such a geek.
  18. I love that article! Such a touching story. Thanks for sharing!
  19. I just had to post this. It's the first Budweiser Clydesdale commercial made after 9/11. I've seen it many many times and it always make me cry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2d17gXJp5v8&sns=em
