People often record important dates of their ancestors in the family Bible so just because there is an old birth date recorded doesn't mean that the Bible is also that old. But from the typeface and the known dates it was probably published around 1885 - 1895.

Probably printed between 1895 and 1901.

Joe wanted to buy a motorbike He doesn't have much luck until one day, he comes across a Harley with a 'for sale' sign on it. The bike seems even better than a new one, although it is 10 years old. It is shiny and in absolute mint condition. He immediately buys it, and asks the seller how he kept it in such great condition for 10 years. 'Well, it's quite simple, really,' says the seller, 'whenever the bike is outside and it's gonna rain, rub Vaseline on the chrome. It protects it from the rain.' And he hands Joe a jar of Vaseline. That night, his girlfriend, Sandra, invites him

Since you said you went to West Ridge I have to assume that you didn't really give him your "all" and have reserved that for whoever you end up marrying.

What? Someone going "Postal" at the post office? Who would've thunk it? Since we don't like how the Egyptians are being treated let's all boycott Cairo Syrup. -
Florida Judge rules Obama care Unconstitutional

Providing for the welfare of the general public is a basic goal of government. The preamble to the U.S. Constitution cites promotion of the general welfare as a primary reason for the creation of the Constitution. Promotion of the general welfare is also a stated purpose in state constitutions and statutes. The concept has sparked controversy only as a result of its inclusion in the body of the U.S. Constitution. The first clause of Article I, Section 8, reads, "The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common -

A woman goes to the doctor all black and blue ... Doctor: "What happened?" Woman: "Doctor, I don't know what to do. Every time my husband comes home drunk he beats me to a pulp." Doctor: "I have a real good remedy for that. When your husband comes home drunk, just take a glass of sweet tea and start swishing it around in your mouth but don't swallow. Just keep swishing and swishing until he goes to bed in his drunken stupor." Two weeks later the woman comes back to the doctor looking fresh and reborn. Woman: "Doctor, that was a brilliant idea. Every time my husband

A Suggestion For Hosts, Hostesses and other Greeters

I thinking that in order to get servers to wake up and do their job right (and slow down) would be to do something we do often on cruise ships. Typically you tip at the end of the cruise and sometimes you'll find some people who'll stiff the waiters and not tip at all. So what we often do is tip a portion up front and tell them we'll tip them additionally at the end of the week based on the service they provide. It's amazing how those guys will work to get that additional tip. Maybe if we tip the server around 10 to 12 percent up front then if they do a great job they'll get another 10 to -
A Suggestion For Hosts, Hostesses and other Greeters
Georgia Dawg replied to eym_sirius's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think most servers, once they learn HOW to do the job - they don't teach it in high school, do a great job. The fault is with management for not training these people properly. The good ones pick up on it quickly and learn to be a 'server' - not a servant. I think most servers should get to go on a cruise occasionally and see how they traing the wait staff there. -
We're on the Swan drive end of Carrington Pointe and we did hear something around 7PM and then again around 8:40 PM. To me, it sounded more like a shotgun shot. Either that or some kids playing with leftover fireworks from New Years.

A Suggestion For Hosts, Hostesses and other Greeters
Georgia Dawg replied to eym_sirius's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That's one of my pet peeves. I'm still eating and the waitress comes by and sees my glass is empty or almost empty. Instead of just bringing a fresh glass or refilling my glass they often stop by and saw "Would you like a refill?" Can't you see that I'm still eating? Of course I'd like a refill, but DON'T YOU DARE run off with my only glass with a swallow left in it just in case I need it before you get back. I've been known to stop eating completely once my glass was empty and then they'd stop by and say "Are you done eating?" to which I would say " No, but apparently I'm done drinking sinc -
Words Like Anybody, Everybody, Nobody, And Allways

Since you mentioned Obamacare, if you plan on selling your home you'd better do so before the healthcare bill is fully implemented in 2013 since every real estate transaction is going to be accessed with SALES TAXES above and beyond all of the current taxes. Many people are lucky to sell their home for the amount of their current mortgage. This is just what everyone needs - another 3.8% real estate sales tax going to the government to help pay for healthcare. -

You might want to watch the pawn shops, especially the one that thinks it's patriotic, because they ignore the theft sheets and aren't keeping records on certain items. We watched craigslist and ebay religiously and everything was going through the pawn shop right under the PCSO nose. Our course the DA won't do anything to the pawn shops since they will occasionally help them out in catching 'some' crooks but they've been caught not keeping records for transactions that show up on their own video taped surveillance.
