ANOTHER SLAVERY QUESTION FOR MATH HOMEWORK
Georgia Dawg replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Some people get upset when everyone else doesn't compartmentalize everything into individual silos like they do. Heaven forbid someone use a geography example in a math word problem, or use science in a math word problem, or use math in a political delegate count problem... Besides, the question didn't say that the Plantation was in the United States. Plantations exist in Africa, where slavery still exists. -
Before taking someone else's opinion as your own, why don't you read the Executive Order and form your own opinion? http://www.whitehous...es-preparedness If you're wondering what was changed from the previous executive order 12919 you can compare that to this: http://www.archives....s/pdf/12919.pdf So, nothing there to get all upset about. If you want to get upset, read thes below: Let's set the record straight The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007 the day the Democrats took over both the House of Reps and the Senat

98% of attorneys give the rest of them a bad name...

I wonder if the attorney was willing to take 60 cents a week of the $2 she would get from him?

Just another example of a dictatorship with the continued unbalancing of powers.

If they were live trees, then insurance should pay. I had one pine that twisted the root ball halfway out of the ground and insurance paid $1000 - which just covered its cleanup. I had 7 other trees down in my yard as well. I had Travelers insurance at the time.

I called AT&T about connection problems and their technical people told me to turn the phone off and on 3 times. I told him, how about if I turn it off 3 times and only turn it on twice? (He didn't get) I switched to Verizon and haven't any trouble since.

A couple of the tours that we did from the hotel that I would do again: A Plantation tour - bus takes you to several large plantation homes with tour guides to tell you all of the tales about hushpuppies, whistling, drapery pools, house deeds, etc. A Vampire tour - a walking tour through many of the places in downtown NO and stories of the vampires and empty caskets that were shipped to NO. Pretty interesting stuff tho...

Replace the light switch with a motion detector type so that once he's in the shower and the switch doesn't see in movement (it can't see through a shower door or curtain) after about 10 minutes it would cut the light off.

And don't forget after that Wendy's Chili...

Spanking Makes Kids Dumber and More Aggressive?
Georgia Dawg replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I don't think spanking and aggressive behavior have anything to do with each other. To do the study properly they would have to control so many other environmental and behavioral stimuli that it would be virtually impossible. Children raised in the last 10-15 years have been exposed to a much more aggressive society - murders on TV and murders in the classroom. They are desensitized to wrong and evil, and aggressive behavior is often accepted as many parents no longer attempt to discipline their children. I think the study is more of a judgment on today's society than it is on spanking. O -
This will probably be one of his last videos...

Yeah, just stay away from I-20. The sunshine slow down always affects that road. I took E-W connector to 285 and around from there. It seemed to be a lot faster. Most mornings it would only take 1 1/4 hours if I left around 6AM. I would normally leave by 3:30 and would be home before 5.

Just make sure you gave the police good descriptions of your tools. The pawn shops (where most crooks take their stolen items) are supposed to make pictures of everything that is sold to them and they're supposed to hold it for 30 days before they sell it (in case it was stolen). However, some pawn shops break the law and don't take pictures and don't wait the 30 days. One in particular in Dallas, close the bus barn, was doing just that. I happened to go by there and found one of my tools. I looked in the case and there was broken glass from the basement window that it was next to. Neither the

As opposed to respectable thieves? You'll need to help the detectives find the perps - they need all the help they can get. I used Facebook and found the ones that robbed us. Stupid people put pictures on their wall of our stuff they stole.

DID U SEE THAT? The new HARDEE'S Commercial?
Georgia Dawg replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
At first I thought it was a GoDaddy commercial! -
That one cent store will have a new pricing policy.

Just goes to prove "you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time." Personally, I think they did a great job with their new marketing model. These guys are not novices. But only time will tell... -

I guess you, too, suffer from this condition called Electile Dysfunction - the inability to become aroused over any of the candidates for election.

Our house was built in 1993. We were the original owners. We've never had the septic tank pumped and it's worked fine for almost 20 years. My parents never touched theirs in almost 40 years. A lot depends on whether the ground will perk well. If not, you may be just using the tank as temporary storage of your stuff and you'll have to have it pumped every few years. If your septic tank is working properly you should have to mess with it for a long time. Many houses in Paulding have been built on property that won't perk but the Health Department has simply turned its head. I guess they were th

Let him pay a security deposit equal to 3-6 months rent and have him start paying his rent immediately. That way you're never behind - and don't let him ever to consider the security deposit as a buffer if he's late in paying.

Superglue was used by trauma surgeons in Vietnam to glue the edges of lacerated livers together (ever try to SEW liver?). Works great. It also works perfectly fine in normal skin wounds, and is non-toxic. The only reason it hasn't been approved by the FDA for this purpose is that the studies would cost millions, and who's going to pay them? Superglue has long since passed off-patent. -
And everyone knows NJ has more pervs than anywhere else.

Yeah, not gonna happen as long as Obama is prez. Besides, they want gas prices to skyrocket.
