  1. Don't forget the Gantt chart so we can see the size of the bars under different situations....
  2. EXACTLY! Short memories, and it's not wrong when it's done to Republicans...
  3. Your mailbox must be full - won't accept new messages. I'm pretty familiar with the HOA guidelines. The dues in 2011 were $365. Feel free to PM me. We lived there since 1994.
  4. With Real Player you can download any You Tube video. It's available for IE, FireFox and Google Chrome browsers...
  5. I remember in 1985 that the union said they had better vote to move from a 5 day work week to a 7 day work week. So they did, and it passed, and they ended up getting some huge benefits in order to avoid a strike... However, due to the enormously high union wages that were being paid, it was the fiduciary duty of the board of directors to recommend shutting our plant down in order to save the company. Way to go unions! I got a good taste of your leadership and cronyism.
  6. When it was open, we always loved going there. I remember going there back in the 90's. We took several people and treated them there. I remember it used to be the place where a bunch of kids went for their prom dinner. Too bad it will probably never see that level of activity again. And today, if it was open, you could avoid all of the traffic out on 278 in Hiram. The closest substitute is the Olive Tree.
  7. I can tell you that teen aged children of pastors or preachers have the worst discipline problems.
  8. Oh, I forgot about your knee... Me odd? I'm not the person the ducks have trained to do their bidding...
  9. Abundance doesn't mean just financially. Jesus spoke specifically about the difficulty of a rich man making it into heaven...
  10. Are you finding the urge to squat and try to walk? When you take a shower does the water run off your back? TOO LATE!!!!!
  11. Hiram, Georgia has a violent crime rate of 1701 incidents per 100,000 people. But it is based on 4 year old data. Hiram could be even worse now...
  12. When I get those kinds of calls that they just don't seem to get the message that I don't know the person, I usually ask if they can hang on a sec and if they do I just put the phone down and come back in a half hour or so to see if they're still on the line. If they are, then I enjoy the fact that I've kept them from calling other people...
  13. Go buy a Pregnancy test. Then you can say, "Well, at least I'm not pregnant."...
  14. It means you did NOT lead sheltered lives.
  15. Rumor has it that there're chambers behind the green door. :-)
  16. I don't know that there will be a web site streaming live video since the event will take around 6 hours. I'm sure there will be dozens of web sites with still photos shot from observatories and the like that people will be able to review on Wednesday.
  17. Don't forget to prepare for this event this evening.
  18. $270 doesn't sound like a bad deal. I just checked the weekly rental rate with Hertz for Labor Day week and it was $338 for a RAV4.
  19. Excellent opportunity for kids summer learning and curiosity building. Observers in North America see Venus on June 5 around 6:04 p.m. EDT until sunset. The entire transit lasts over six hours. This will be the last transit of Venus to occur in your lifetime. Next chance: December 2117. My link
  20. Say it isn't so! I remember a thread on here where everyone was saying the postal service was wonderful! [i experienced the same thing, and it wasn't due to garbage cans...)
  21. State lotteries have the longest odds of any form of legal gambling. And if you’re from the Peach State, odds are you’re losing more than most. Georgia's lottery players are the biggest suckers in the nation, according to Bloomberg Rankings... My link
  22. Believe what you want to believe. This was from the Associated Press, a little more reliable than NPR. US economy added 69K jobs in May, fewest in a year US economy added 69,000 jobs in May, fewest in a year; unemployment rate rose to 8.2 percent By Christopher s. Rugaber, AP Economics Writer | Associated Press – 3 minutes 29 seconds ago My link
  23. Again, it's no an issue of who he slept with. The issue is was campaign money paid to someone in order to influence an election. I think what we are seeing in this jury is the same problem with our country - that some are Red and some are Blue and they can't agree on anything as the rhetorik has caused such a polarization of the electorate.
