Not so fast. When you buy a new car you pay the taxes based on the county of YOUR residence, not the county where you bought the car. It doesn't matter if you go to a county that has a lower tax rate and buy the car from there. The dealer will still tax you based on the county where you live and when they turn in their taxes the State will then send the money to the appropriate county.

Did you see AB and UJ?

Paulding County Property Owners, Renters and Vistors

I'm still voting NO and it doesn't matter how you try to phrase the poll questions to get your desired result. "Have you stoped beating your spouse?" Yes/No -
If they think this was the most sweeping intrusion of the federal government into the home repair and renovation industry, wait until they see the effects of Cap and Tax if that ever gets passed.
-
I probably would have planned on voting YES for this, but after hearing the blackmail in the ads I've decided to VOTE NO since there must be something that they're not telling us to threaten blackmail to get it passed.

I have a 55" Samsung Plasma 1080p in our den. We went with the plasma in there because our Den is dark and plasma works better there. We have Vizio LCD HDTV in all of the other rooms. 9 TVs in total. If you have a Blue-Ray player then you'll want to get a 1080p instead of a 720p. If you don't have one, you probably won't be able to tell the difference. Remember: 1080i and 720p are basically the same thing. 1080p is better (and more expensive) than 720p. Non-HD signals are broadcast at 480p. Plasma TVs are better in darker rooms (Plasma and LCDs have basically the same life span now

There's a Federal law that prohibits them from keeping more in the account than they should. But after they send the check to you, you can deposit it and write them out a check for the same amount to put it back into escrow. They only have to do that assessment once per year. They won't keep sending it back to you - only once a year would they do that.

"Dispatch? I need to you to run a plate for me. The number is Delta-Echo-Charlie... 15 minutes could save you 15% or more on your car insurance." And if your tag ran an AD for Krispy Kreme donuts, you that be seen by a cop as harassment???

You can always send them the money to put back in the escrow and keep paying what you always have.

I can imagine working for an incompetent Commander in Chief would be an issue, but working for a Commander in Chief who doesn't even have the valid citizenship to hold that position would be another issue. You can't blame McCrystal for saying what he believes. And you can't blame him if he retires. He's probably tired of the BS from BHO. It's going to be interesting to see how many in Obama's administration start leaving over the next 5-6 months.

Cash basis taxpayer model? Wanna explain further? I just got a call from my BP adjusted that they mailed my check 2 days ago. I had given them the proof - to the penny - of what I felt I was owed. They then rounded it up to the next hundred dollars. They said that should cover me through June 20th and shortly before July 20th they'll get with me to determine my losses for that month. Since I just purchased this condo last December I didn't have a previous years history to show them but I was able to show them my rental history so far, and the emails where some have cancelled. But so

What other schools near Nebo have newspaper collection?

There may be one at Corner Baptist Church on MacLand. I know they have a dumpster for Aluminum as well. -

That's why I'm going beyond the terms of my contract to make my renters 'whole'. The deposit really isn't that much in the grand scheme of things (less than 10% of the total). But when you've got some people that want to cancel just because a single tar ball comes ashore 15 miles down the beach, while others who wanted my condo, but couldn't because it was already reserved, are wanting it for the pools, location, restaurants, location, the sun, and the location. Did I mention the location?

I would think that the State would be going out and buying up as much property (for future road expansion, etc) as they could afford while the prices are down. Nothing wrong with that. Buy low.... just simple economics. Nothing different than people buying homes during this buyers market.

Ok, here's how I am handling it. BTW, I manage my own unit rather than use a rental agency. I require a reservation deposit up front in order to secure the reservation. Then, 60 days out and 30 days out I require 50% of the rent and each point. If you cancel outside the 60 days I refund the deposit. If you cancel between 30 and 60 days you forfeit the deposit and 50% of the rent. If you cancel within 30 days you forfeit the entire payment. If I'm able to rent out that week then I will reimburse you the difference between what you paid and what I was able to rent my unit for. In the case of

Mine went down 21%. I'll be waiting with baited breath to see if my tax bill goes down by the same percentage.

"Hey! Have ya'll got any toilet paper in your stall?" -
I got a chuckle when I saw a motorcycle cop pulling out of a dirt area onto the paved road to give someone chase, only to see him slip down in the sand. [No one or property was harmed in the production of this hilarious event]

Can a ceiling fan be fixed, or is it time for a new one?
Georgia Dawg replied to DonBrownJr's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Constantly starting a ceiling fan at Low speed will shorten its life. That's way the the switch goes from Off to High then Med and Low. It's much cheaper to replace the capacity and see if that fixes it before replacing the fan.
