Not sure if anyone is really cheering over his death, as much as they are glad that the sentence was carried out. And are you really comparing those that support the death penalty to terrorists???

And how would you explain their testimony that the statements were accurate on the stand and then later recanting that very testimony? Were they lying by signing the statements, and then under oath, in court? Or were they lying when they recanted? They knew what they were signing, they knew what they were testifying to. Were they willingly perjuring themselves to start with? I don't know of anyone who would willingly commit perjury for anyone, especially in a murder case. I will say that when it comes to losing one of their own, the police want the murderer found and convicted, but above that

None of those that recanted said he didn't do it. They just said they didn't know what they were saying previously during testimony. Two of the witnesses never recanted. Of course those that recanted were coerced to do so. I fully believe that. Not sure if they were pro-Davis as much as anti-death penalty, but either way an activist group coerced them. Witness statements aside, there was physical evidence of his guilt.
