Police say they were pretty surprised to catch Norma Cheren trying to sell marijuana Thursday near the Cheesecake Factory in Buckhead. So officers raided her home and found nine pounds of marijuana and $130,000 in cash in her home.
  4. You look cool Guard Dad. Best wishes to the posters daughter. The thing about being on here is standing up for your self and principles. Recognizing tripe when you see it. When I see my economy going down the drain and others proclaim the world is doing just fine, I tend to get a little perturbed. I do believe there is a ladies section to Pcom where you might share your problems with fold you feel more comfortable with.

  10. Lets put it in a simple non technical perspective. If there are people still out of work. If there are people still not getting raises. If there are still people facing foreclosure then there is no economic recovery. No matter how bright an rosy the news media make it. Our economy is still in the tank.

Before a packed hearing room, House Majority Whip Edward Lindsey, R-Atlanta, made a pitch for his legislation, which would allow parents and teachers to force a local school board to consider their petition to change their traditional public school into a charter school. The legislation, House Bill 123, is

McDonald's warned last month that same-restaurant sales would be down. Analysts polled by Consensus Metrix had expected a decline of 1.1 percent. Shares of McDonald's, which had fallen earlier in the week, slipped 3 cents to $94.60 in premarket trading

A ginger tabby named Orlando beat a team of investment professionals and a group of students in a year-long stock-picking experiment conducted by the British paper The Observer. Orlando picked his stocks by throwing a toy mouse at a grid of companies, while his human opponents possibly used methods involving "research" and "thinking."
