Where is the nearest Kroger, Ingles or Walmart to that store? Walmart is the closest. In a competitive market the green P will not compete apples to apples.

You must bleed Publix green. I shop Publix when I need a few things. When Kroger doesn't carry the items I'm looking for or it's a quick stop in the one in Mableton on my way home from work. Every time I'm in a store, you never see a mother with 2 kids schlepping a full buggy of everyday items bought on a weekly basis. It's too damn expensive for that. What I DO see is people going in to buy a few specialty items they can't get at WM, Ingles or K-Roger and the hoarders walking around with their coupon folders open in the baby set of the buggy. Yelp, Trip Advisor, and a few others. I researched them all. I think most peoples taste buds are fried. Every site this place was awesome. Yeah.......not so much. Slowly losing faith in humanity. The Inn is freaking though!

Meh. The food at the Inn was mediocre at best. I had the shrimp n grits which they are supposed to be famous for. Mine are 100 times better. The only reason I ate them was because we haven't eaten anything all day and I was hungry.

Publix is too freaking expensive. You never see anyone actually shopping there. It people picking up a few things or the hoarders buying the BOGOS. But no one actually spends too much money on purpose shopping there buying weekly groceries.

We feel the EXACT same. Love Charleston. I could stay there for a month exploring. We check in Friday afternoon.

Once again, ours went down. Good for taxes, sucks for home resale value. But then again, we don't plan on selling for a long long time.
