Why is that?

Water can also expand up and down when frozen. When water is warm the only way it can expand is out.

Do I think this girl should have listened in the first place....yes. Do I think the police should be involved with an undisciplined student....no. Do I think a math class is the place for "civil disobedience"....no. Do I think this is racial....no. Do I think that the officer was extreme.....yes. But what is to expected if the police are involved. One way or another she was going to be forced to do what she was told. That is what the police are trained to do. That is why I do not think they belong involved with a undisciplined student situation. I really hope the girl is expelled.
