  1. He's not with her anymore, what does he care about what she thinks about him taking a paternity test? If some woman is coming after me for 25% of my income for the next 18 years, I'd have to be a complete idiot to not verify this is actually my debt. I hate the way child support works, it's abused by both sides in many cases. With that said, there are safeguards in the system to prevent what happened to this guy from happening. He chose to just accept paternity. This woman is obviously pretty damn shady but perhaps she chose to go after him for support because she knew he was an idiot
  2. When a "father" receives a summons for a child support order, he has the opportunity to have a paternity test. The fact that he didn't is his fault and makes him responsible. Just like when you don't show up to court for anything else, your absence at hearings implies you agree to the charge. mrnn
  3. Has anyone purchased the bundled meat deal they have advertised on their marquis? Sounds intriguing but would like to know what it includes and what kind of price we're looking at. mrnn
  4. I have a 3G and love it. AT&T is killing the iPhone though...the latest firmware release for the iphone supports tethering (hook your phone to your laptop on the road and you can use the internet connection on your laptop), MMS (photos and other multimedia through text), as well as push notification for your internet email accounts and chat programs (notifies you when a new message arrives). These were 3 big complaints from iphone users, Apple has provided the features, but AT&T cannot support them yet, though they say in the next few months they "should" be able to. I love
  5. I spend top dollar for my IPA's because I'm a bit of a hop head....these are a couple of my faves: Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA Sweetwater IPA Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA As far as just normal beer fridge staples: Stella Warsteiner anything Sweetwater Yeungling PBR Budweiser Newcastle I'm a big fan of craft beers in general so most of the time I'm just trying different stuff mrnn
  6. The Weather Channel -- real time radar, forecasts, as well as video forecasts Dice by Motion X -- nothing too fancy, but a dice roller you can use for board games or what have you Bejeweled 2 -- If you're a fan of the Bejeweled gem game online, this is a must Coin Flip -- nothing more than it says, but cool to pull out the phone when you have a decision to make Peggle -- very addictive game Ocarina -- turn your phone into a flute-ish type of instrument...pointless, but cool Dictionary -- takes forever and a day to load but great reference app that includes thesaur
  7. I've heard Dave Ramsey talk about this before, but his approach was a bit different. Instead of going somewhere and offering to work for free to pick up skills, which is great, he uses it as a negotiating trick...a no-risk guarantee to the employer. Get their ear, tell them what you have to offer and that you're willing to work a week or two for free so that they can see that you're a solid investment. If it doesn't work out, you walk away with a learning experience and they feel appreciative of the opportunity you gave them. I'd say go for it one way or the other. It'd probably
  8. I think my wife would describe me as a below average driver because I'm aggressive. I don't think that being aggressive necessarily means you're a poor or even average driver. I speed....a lot. If someone is in the far left lane on an interstate doing at or under the speed limit I will be directly on their bumper if they don't move over when they have an opportunity to do so. If I have to pass them on the right I will practically be in their lane in my pass and cut them off badly when I get back in the left lane. These people who don't respect the left lane are the problems on the roa
  9. To me, there's a difference between a pederast who lulls his prey using Jesus Juice, monkeys, and an amusement park and a dude who was banging a 16 year old chick (legal in some states). But I wasn't around during Elvis's time so I don't know, maybe he was just as worthless. mrnn
  10. Bubbles found the Jesus Juice and drank his way to a slow, painful death. mrnn
  11. I have pretty much the same status on my facebook as your post, LTD. I'm sick of this idiocy. We've got a dead, drug addled pederast who is getting non-stop coverage to "celebrate" his life and career, but real issues that affect real Americans are going by the wayside, just a blurb in a storm of Jackson. Good riddance!!! Oh yeah, and his music, outside of a few songs, was horrible. mrnn
  12. For novelty and a decent brunch take them to the rotating restaurant on the top floor of the Westin.
  13. I had some jackass run up on me yesterday, threw a real nice brake check at him while watching him in my side mirror. What a priceless reaction! He threw on his brakes, flipped me off, then passed me on a double yellow with an oncoming car. Brilliant....that's a great way to get back at me for brake-checking you, get in a head on collision. Fortunately he passed me in time because I chose not to be a jackass back and accelerate as he tried to pass. mrnn
  14. Coming from Illinois, that was one thing that shocked me about GA, you aren't REQUIRED to take drivers ed. In IL, we couldn't get our "blue slip" until we passed DE, both written tests and driving tests. To me, this was just common sense and no one complained. I mean, of course you have to take classes and earn certification to drive a couple thousand pounds of metal at high speeds on public roadways.....until I moved here. It explains a lot of what I see on the roadways in GA. mrnn
  15. I rarely get on here anymore. Not that I don't love my pcom family. I just stay so busy here lately. But, I thought let's see what is happening in pcom land tonight.... I now know why God sent me here. I remember when all of this first happened. I have seen updates over the last year as well. When I first saw this post. All I could think was dear Lord don't let that be who I think it is. It took 4 pages of reading before my worst fears were confirmed. Denise your love and light shine!!! Through out this whole ordeal you have shown grace. Which is a trait that few have anymore. I am in awe of y
