Ever wonder why they drive on the left side of the road in the US Virgin Islands? They used to be British so when the US bought the islands they tried to force everyone to drive on the right side. However, the horses that were pulling buggies had a hard time going to the correct side of the road when they made a turn at an intersection. After many horse fatalities running into some of the motorized vehicles,, they reverted back to driving on the left side. Darn horses again!

I heard Life Flight going overhead... I haven't been done there yet but I'm wondering if he just ran off the road slightly and hit that soft dirt where they have been installing that underground pipe.

I wish people would stop using that road as a short cut between Nebo and Ridge. They fly down through there like there's no tomorrow. And neither intersection on Nebo or Ridge has a traffic light. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often on Nebo since it intersects at an angle and hardly anyone wants to stop at the stop sign - they just want to blow right through it. And those coming down Nebo will turn left in front of cars coming toward them like they have the right of way. Please, people, go down to Dallas-Nebo where at least there are traffic lights to help keep this from happeni

I just went by there and there are at least 4 or more deputies still on site. And a helicopter just went over and was circling. Couldn't tell if it was a news chopper or not...

Something in the water over there? Not causing the headache, I mean the other?

Not meaning to be cruel, but wouldn't an adult with a headache at an Elementary school be pretty common? I hope she's alright though...

I was drunk the day my Momma got out of prison. And I went to pick her up in the rain. Before I could get to the station in my pickup truck. She got run over by a damned old train.

That area seems to have had a problem with peeping tom's or attempted break-ins for a while. The last time I remember police cars all up and down Swan Dr in Carrington Point and police and flash lights in the woods looking for the guy to come out on this side from Camden Woods. With a lot of those trees gone now it doesn't make as good a place for them to hide anymore... I don't know if they caught that one or not. The one that got the most action is when the peeping tom was caught at a police officer's home. You picked the wrong house this time boy.
