My dress was from Dress Barn, too. lol That is the one thing I would have changed. I would have worn jeans. We eloped as well. We were married at the Alpine Wedding Chapel in Helen. I think we spent around $150.

We loved it too, but left because of the 2 recital thing. Not just a financial thing it was mainly because I didn't feel like the kids has enough time to learn the dances. No one seemed to know what they were doing and they had to watch the teacher off stage the whole time. Not that any of that had to do with your question. Back to your question, when we were at a different studio that only did a Spring recital, I think we paid for those costumes in Dec.
