I'm thinking the OP didn't get the response they were hoping for.

They would have actually waited until after the snow and ice, b/c it would not have done any good to salt before the snow and ice were on the ground.

Actually I would think that if they were in the medical field, they would have done like a lot of the police, firemen, electricians, and other emergency personal did. Get where they needed to be knowing that they would be there for the long haul. After all there are a couple of posts on this board in different threads about husbands, wives, BF, and SOs, who got hotel rooms near where they work b/c they are the ones that do the jobs to keep us safe.

Everybody (unless you just moved here yesterday or live under a rock) knows Ga. does not and should not have as many snow plows as up in (gosh dern we're so much better then the south) north. If we did then the same ones of you bitching about the lack of service would be bitching about how much is spent on something we might not need. Aforementioned Jack Russell Beagle mix- Needed to be reminded as well. Long Haired Chihuahua- Told me I had lost my mind. That I could just put down some newspaper thank ya very much. Chihuahua Min-pin mix- Ran out came back and found newspaper.

Not all cell services work out here. I just changed from one to another b/c of that. Still gonna keep a land line though.

Any excuse to blame the "other" party. It's a shame that people have to turn this tragedy into political fodder, and the ones that have done it (not gonna name names as I have not read all of the pages for this thread) should be ashamed of themselves. People have died, a child is dead, and all some can think of is how can we use this to make the other party look bad. There are extremist in every group. The only difference is some get a pass some don't. Seems it depends on your word for God.
