  1. Well...OK there's that. But, but, it's BASEBALL time.
  2. The last time we were in there, I asked the same thing. We can only hope.
  3. There is a deficit? What happened to all the water from the snow and rain that we've had in the past 4 months????? There crazy I tell ya, crazy. Thanks for raining on my practice schedule.
  4. I didn't relize that Dr. Beckford was only at the Austell office once a month . But, DS hasn't needed to go to the doctor for the past year or so. I do need to get him in for a sports physical soon. I'll go to the Symrna office. Like I said as long as she doesn't go to the other side of Atlanta, we'll follow her.
  5. You are correct. I too think the same thing. Mom of 3, I ran out of positives to balance the negatives that some have given you. So for you +500
  6. Ok, not the same group. Any way I'll pm you the number.
  7. Is your doctor in the building at the four way stop, and on the second floor? I think Dr. Beckford might be at the Symrna office more now then the Austell office. I just really trust her and will go a ways to see her. But, I do like that I can go see someone at the Austell office if I have to.
  8. I did the manicure thing, until I got a wart from it. Freaked me out!!! I had never had a wart before. I hate to shop. I know I need to have my girl card taken. I guess if I were to splurge it would be flavored coffees.
  9. Talk about picking fights. You and I have been down this road before. Just because a doctor has a lot of patients does not mean they are successful or good. It just means quantity over quality. I know all the good restaurants and concerts yadda, yadda, some people like to talk with their doctor.
  10. I haven't needed to go see him in a year or so, I didn't know that. Awesome for him. I do need to have a checkup. Maybe I will try to get in next week.
  11. I don't know if you want to go as far as Mulkey road, but we use Dr. Beckford. She is awesome!! She has been our son's doctor since he was just a few hours old. I can't believe it has been 11 years already!!
  12. I go to Dr. Breckwaldt on Lake road by the Race Trac on 278. I have been seeing him for almost 10 years now. He is also an internist.
  13. This is insane. No, one has the "right" to question my child w/o my permission. I know that my kid will be bruised and look like we beat him sometimes. However he does play real football. I always make sure the teachers know this at the start of school. I know that many of us football parents make sure the teachers know that the kid plays sports. Maybe when DFACS proves that it isn't incompetent then this law with restrictions will make sense. Until that time NO. Do not even think about talking to my kid w/o me present or with my permission. Lucky, a lot of the time the good kids with
  14. You washed her that is the whole problem. I know not helping, but....
  15. Medical records and health info was all I wanted from my biological mother. Yes, that is important. I don't usually point out when others are being hateful, unless they attack my kid. I was just point out the log in your eye, while you were point out the splinter in mom of 3's eye. You know what's really funny? Sometimes I do agree with you.
  16. Actually, she's very cool. Not every reunion is all roses and happy. It would be disingenuous to not point this out. Some of us have had a wonderful reunion and gone on to have great relationships with our biological donners, others have not. The truth is yes this can be a wonderful experience, but you need to prepare your heart for disappointment. There is no problem with that. Reality bites, and it is better to "prepare for the worse, and hope for the best." Oh, and you are actually the one that tends to pick fights in the topics you post.
  17. I am happy that this has been resolved. Good luck, and I hope your SO is going into this with his eyes wide open.
  18. My oldest was in a booster till he was about 6. This was in 1986, daughter was in hers until she was about 5. She out grew it, her feet touched the floorboard, and the seat belt fit right. Youngest was in his until about 5 when he out grew his too. He was not allowed to sit in the front seat until he was a bit taller and weighed 100#. I have a passenger side air bag in the Blazer. Shot for the longest time the kids thought that the vehicle really wouldn't start until the seat belts were buckled.
  19. Proud wife of an Army vet, and proud mom of a Marine.
  20. My younger sister and I were always told that our birth mother was dead. We found out she was and is very much alive. After meeting her we are so glad we were raised with the parents who chose us. There are many reasons that one would want to find their biological parents, but I would caution anyone to steel themselves for disappointment. You may find that the person will reject you and not want to have anything to do with you, or they may want to get so involved with you that it almost is creepy. And understand that they may not be who you imagined them to be. Your SO should talk wit
  21. I am exactly who I am. I don't toot my own horn with BS like other people. I don't attack kids on open forums or anywhere else. I also believe there are three sides to every story, and if you have never spoken with all involved then you don't know what the truth is,or what the facts are. One of my best friends lives in a trailer. I hate a theif and a lier. Most of all I don't play head games. You want to meet? I would love to meet with anyone. I've made very good friends with some of the posters on this board. I was raised by a Democrat mother, but I lean conservative. I will bend o
