Look, kids have been "underage" drinking FOREVER. Heck I bought beer when I was 15/16 just because I could get away with it. Now if my mom caught me I would have been in a world of hurt. Small hijack, If one of your family members is friends with your child they can help you keep tabs on your child. Of course there are always ways around it, but I have let my sister know that something hinky was up with her daughter. I also let my ex know what was going on with his daughter. The point is that hopefully is a family member or friend sees something they will let you know. OK, then we both missed the target. My point in my posts is however you chose to live your relationship is your bissiness. What I was reading in the post about being a SAHM is that we get very little respect. It is almost as if some do not consider that we too are contributing to society. We all make the choices that hopefully will be the best for our families. Wether it be the woman that stays at home or the father. Or if it is better for both parents to work. I do know that SAHMs are treated like they don't have a brain and the only thing they can bring to the conversation is child relate

Some SAHD do all that and then some. Today if a woman says she is a SAHM she is looked down on, the same as SAHD. Sometimes the woman makes more and it works for them to have this arraignment. We have gone through joblessness where I had a job and my husband didn't. He took care of the kids, cooked, cleaned and even did laundry (much to my chgrin.) When the tables were turned it worked the same way. My point is if you aren't in the relationship then you have no clue what the couple has decided to do.
