Look at least it's not like how they did the veterans tags. They changed this tag twice in a two year period. Both times it cost DH $90.00 on top of his regular tag amounts. I didn't know you could get a sticker that says In God we trust until the other day. It really is very simple buy it if you want it, or don't.

All the web sites I found promoted healthy diet and a strong immune system. They also had some herbal supplements. IMHO, a combination of holistic and science based medicine can be beneficial. The best thing you can do for your pet is to talk with your vet. He or she is the best one to advise you. I know that the vets are aware of the concerns about the efficiency issue. Your vet is going to have all the current information.

The second link provides an excellent diagram of how heart worm is contracted and progresses.
