I guess it might be. I just recently started needing to go past there on a regular basis. I usually go past there about 6:00. It's the shortest route to where I need to go.

The area we are talking about is near me. The trailer park has all those races in it. The 2 people I know who were in gangs are white. I don't care what race they are.

Funny how the topic started by News Junky focused on the tragedy, yet it was merged with this. I too focused on the loss of life.

When I think of self medicating I think of our veterans. Who to quite the nightmares would drink themselves into a stupor. Or, sometimes take drugs to block the sites, and sounds of warfare. Thank God PTSD is recognized and our heroes and their families can get the help they need. A drug abuser is just that, no more or less. They are the ones who must decide to change. The enablers (IE: the "professionals" who give them excuses) have to stop enabling.

You are not a "bad" wife. No more then if your 20 something kid did something stupid makes you a "bad" mom. When my husband gets stupid I lay the guilt trip on him. That may not work either. My BIL didn't change his life either. He died b/c of it about 10 years ago.

I read the story. But, like everything else what we refer to as an elevator they refer to it as a lift. So is the "right wing" definition in the UK the same as the one here in the USA? Would Pubby have titled the same story the same way if it had been a Muslim? I think not.

Maybe Pubby's part of the topic should be split with all the personal insults going on. Seems to me it should be sent to Paulding Place. Is that not where this is heading? What ever is left here could be retitled to reflect the true story of the tragedy.

Boss I would say that perhaps who ever merged the topics, shouldn't have. One is clearly titled to get a rise out of people where as the other was titled to simply pass along the info. Normally I would agree to the merging of the topics, however merging and leaving the "right winger" reference in tact is not even close to something that should have been done.

I wonder if her drug use wasn't so glamorized by the "entertainment" media, would she have gotten the helps she so desperately needed? I have never heard her music, but I did know who she was b/c of the stories of her drug use. It is really sad that one can be known more for their abuses then for the talent that they have. Yet, another reason to legalize drugs. Right?
