I have a friend from church that works at that store.. She was supposed to find out about her job today. Haven't heard from her yet..

It is so sad!! Praying for his family... He was too young.

I don't- but HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Our 10 yr is in March!!

You are not being overly sensitive on this! That is crazy... and I would have been ticked if that happened in my neighborhood and they woke up my kids!! They would have to come in and get them back to sleep while I went back to bed! lol

It is run by the Catholic Church across the street.. They probably aren't open because of the snow.. Volunteers from the church work there, so it probably hasnt' been open due to the storm. Maybe try calling the church tomorrow?

I don't know about 61- but I-20 is a mess... there are 40 tractor trailers by Thornton Road that can't move... I wouldn't try it!!

Glen Burns just said that we could get more snow this weekend.. nothing like today, but WOW!!

I am grateful his company sent out a message not to come in!! I was so worried about him having to drive to Alpharetta... glad they thought about it again and changed their minds!

LOL! My hubby and I were just saying the same thing! He is giving Dallas a bad name! How can you say that you don't know why you lost traction?? Crazy!

My Hubby is supposed to! He's an electrician.. I don't want him leaving in this mess!!

We will have to make these days up- especially since they cut the heck out of the school year already.. But I would rather have my kids home safe and make up these days, rather than another scenario..

Last night they wouldn't let my Mom go past Ragsdale Elem. There weer waiting for a sand truck, well finally a friend's husband drove over there in his truck and picked her up to spend the night at their house....

I heard it too...and then went and looked on wsbtv.com and it is saying CLOSED!

He is ok... has a broken right leg, ( that needs surgery), a gash in his forehead, and stitches arond an eye. He had chest pains at the scene, but the cat scan revealed no injuries...

there was a teen involved- he was in the other car, but wasn't hurt.

Saying prayers... this is a dear friend who is a great man with a loving family.

I support you closing on Sunday!! Sunday is a church and family day for me too! I hope to come and try you out soon! Hubby is coming home from Iraq this week and we will need a date night!

I saw part of it... not really much new. They had some of the step mom's friends speak out and say they didn't think she had anything to do with it. The police haven't been able to charge her because they dont' have any evidence to charge her. She did aact strangely- sending inappropriate texts to another man, etc.... but that doesn't mean she did it. I dont' know if she did or not, I just wish there would be closure for the parents!

I didn't think you came off badly- the clip I saw at noon showed you all from a distance...I didnt' see the back of the jackets... I just went off of what they reported! I am glad you corrected me.

I have watched Oprah more this year than I ususally do for that reason! The song she sang was beautiful.. and I am not an Opera fan... I didn't know Marie Osmond sang Opera either. She sings that song every night during her show in Vegas, and dedicates it to her son. ( it will probably be on You Tube if you want to see it)

I am watching Marie Osmond sing a song for her son that killed himself earlier this year. She had a hard time starting it- and then they are showing family pictures... I have been bawling like a baby!
