It's not the teachers fault that we are taxed... They spend alot out of their own pocket.. for our children, and don't get paid very much. Thanks' Mrs G for posting the deal!

I agree with you! I help whenever I can.. even though things are VERY tight for us right now, I always send in stuff for my kids parties.. it gets harder the more you have- ( we have 2 in school- 1 in Pre k) but We do what we can and help in whatever way we can..

Yes.. either way.. it was an accident... I am very glad it ended up like it did.. Could have been MUCH worse.. and it looked like it was that way from what I saw this morning.. He definitely was watched over!

It wasn't a hit and run.... The other car involved ended up being one of the little boys in my sons Pre K class.. . Still praying for all involved!

Doesn't sound good..

It just hit me so hard seeing him lying on the ground.. just felt helpless.. wanting to help but there wasn't anything I could do.. Cried all the way home.. I have seen many accidents and felt awful.. but this one got to me more than usual!

Looked like a car and a motorcycle.. I haven't been able to find any news about it.. Maybe someone that has a scanner heard ?? It was just so awful.. hoping he is going to be OK...

I just got home from dropping off my son at Pre K.. At the intersection of Ridge Rd and Hwy 61 there was a horrible accident involving a motorcycle... He was lying in the middle of the road.. Didn't look good AT ALL.. It had to have happened a few minutes before I got there.. Seeing him lying on the ground- I just couldn't stop the tears.. Trying to hide it from my son, so he couldn't see me upset or the accident itself.. Did anyone else see it? Saying Prayers for him and his family!!

I tried.. they were all out.. they said to get any you have to go in the morning.. it's a favorite I guess!

My hubby is on the Marietta Campus Mon. & Wed.. or he would have! Good luck today!

My 4 yr old son and 6 yr old daughter play it and get better scores than I do .. lol

I have seen tickets for Kids for Free in the Paulding Neighbor in past years..

It is sad that they are closing... We used to go there alot a few years ago.. but money has been tighter, so we haven't... Hoping to go once more before they close!

We are using the GI Bill.. It helps some but doesn't cover all.. I was just saying things are not better for everyone.. I am not asking for any pity.. just saying how it is for us. My husband was an electrician... it was commission based.. we weren't making it.. whether he went back to school or not we would have lost our house... He is in FT for Nursing now... and he picks up side jobs when they are available..

I agree!! The teacher said the kid won't be in there if the parents aren't going to cooperate...It's sad... I don't even want to think how he will turn out!

We do the same!! I got a call from my son's Pre K class Friday telling me my son was PUNCHED in the face by another boy who wanted the toy my son was playing with! The teacher apologized and said this wasn't the first time this kid has been violent, but when talking to the parents, she said "they don't believe in punishment"... that is whats wrong.. People take NO responsibilty for their actions.. It makes me sick to hear about all these wrong way drivers lately.. CRAZY!! and like someone else said.. Propofol ??? There really are no words!!

NO- we are not better off financially.. far from it.. My husband was deployed twice and then went back over as a civilian contractor so we could stay in our home.. he came back and work again was slow. We lost our home and had to move in with my parents.. BUT he is in school FT to start over in a different career.. We have three small children and with the price of gas and child care I would spend my money on all that for me to go back FT.. but I am doing what I can to help by doing a home based business.. I am glad for all of you that have said YES.. but it's not the case for many others

On the Dad's FB page it said : "We found her and just got her home! Thank you to all our family, friends, neighbors, and community for spreading the word. God has blessed us with a safe return. She has a lot of mental healing to do. Continue to keep eden in your prayers. We can't comment on the happenings at this time. Thank you all again for the support and prayers!" So not sure what happened... just glad she is home safe!

We went last year for RIO... it would be much better if they waited till the fall.. hot muggy and mosquitos! Hope everyone who goes has fun!
