I’m with ya as far as the banks and mortgage companies go I do not care for them at all. But when judges start thumbing their nose at the very laws that are in place that they are sworn to uphold and start issuing verdicts based on “feeling” and not in line with the law we have a problem. I must admit I do not have all of the facts of the case. But from what I can gather the judge did not like the outcome of over three years of the mortgage company trying to work with these people and when they started to exercise their right to proceed with foreclosure the judge called them aggressive. The judge is to decide ONLY one issue in a civil case like this. IS THE DEBT OWED, IS IT A LEGAL DEBT AND ARE THE DEBTORS IN DEFAULT. These will be the first holidays without my dad. It’s strange being here in the house on thanksgiving eve, I feel like I need to go check on him or that I will hear him call out to me or mom to get something for him. I will get through the holidays ok, but mom is going to have a VERY hard time with it.
