Was it the Chinese Place next to the Mexican place that is next to the Office place?
-
Website is working, but very limited. It does have their menu on it though.

If you don't have any fans blowing in the basement - you could put some chalk (flour?) down and see if anything walksslithers through it. Meanwhile...have you seen any evidence of mice or bugs (those big hoppy things that look like giant grasshoppers or crickets)? If you have anything like that in the basement - you're basically giving the snake a food buffet. If there is no food supply - the snake will leave.

I guess it's not a good time to tell you that I once found one in the bathroom of our other house. It zipped across the tile and disappeared into the linen closet. I have had a nightlight in the bathroom ever since. -
I think you're over-analyzing the book. It's just like the romance books that use to be popular where the pirate kidnaps the wench and has his way with her, but then he can't get her out of his mind and falls in love with her...yadda, yadda, yadda. It's meant to give women a fantasy. The majority of the women reading the book (at the time it was popular) were older - with many OVER the age of 50. It's not about them WANTING this type of relationship - it's about the FANTASY of having this type of relationship. Their happy, married, have kids (maybe grandkids), and just want a little walk o

They are welcome at White Oak too! Watch for duck poop though!

The world has gone mad.

Yep, and the thin ties are in now. Check out Harvey on "Suits" or Neil on "White Collar" and you'll get a pretty good idea.

Am I the only one that thinks the camel sounds like he's doing a parody of Oprah Winfrey when he says Whoo Hoo at the end? Meanwhile, I like the one where the mother is running errands driving this car that is punked out and playing loud music. She gets back home and it turns out to be her daughter's boyfriend's car.

Sorry your grandfather died that way. I like the way the reporter wrote about the incident..."escaped a similar fate by a hair's breadth..." They just don't write 'em like that anymore!

Sleep Apnea Revisted - CPAP Users Help - Questions!
SushiBoofay replied to SushiBoofay's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thanks everyone for the information. Someone is suppose to call tomorrow to set up an appointment for me to meet with the person that sets everything up. I don't like the idea of being attached to a machine all night, but I do like the idea of finally getting a good night's sleep! -
Thus the meaning behind the old saying...."once in a blue moon..."
-
Okay, so the results of the sleep study came in today and I do have sleep apnea. The next step is the CPAP machine. So, I was hoping that someone could answer a few questions for me. Do you buy the machine or do you rent it or.....???? If you buy it....how much do they usually cost? Is it hard to sleep on your side with one? Anything else I need to know?

Does it look like it might hold water? I have no clue why, but the first thing to come to mind is a ring cleaner.
-
No, I have not - but I commend you for doing it. I tried, but my hair got so damaged - we (stylist and I) decided that it had to be cut before it reached the appropriate length.

Do you remember how much it was to clean the king size? Do you do the washing of the queen ones yourself or do the people that run the place do it for you? (They use to do it for me, but when I stopped in there last week - the office area was all boarded up. Yeah, natural is def. better, but I'm not sure if any of the places around here "go green" or not????
-
I have two large comforters that need to be cleaned. I am afraid to wash them in our washing machine because they are so heavy. I was wondering where the best place is to take them if you want someone else to clean them for you. Thanks in advance!

Is there really new information about Princess Diana's death?

Eh....ever so often they reopen it thinking that there was a conspiracy and the Fayed family wanted to have her killed. -
Since I haven't met my deductible --- FOR ME personally --- they (the insurance company) said the clinic sleep study would be around $2000 (or I should say....out of pocket costs for me after my insurance pays), but I could do the home sleep study test for about $300 or so (also out of pocket). (This is what my insurance company told me when I called to see if the test would be approved.) I have a huge deductible so I can have a lower monthly payment.

First, you have to get an order from the doctor to have the at-home sleep test. Once NightWatch got the order (and my insurance approved the at-home-test) someone from NightWatch called to verify the information and that they had the correct mailing address. Two days later - a box arrived that contained the equipment to take the test. You put the equipment on just before bedtime and wear it to bed for three nights (or for however many days your doctor thinks you should wear it). On the first night --- someone from NightWatch called around my bedtime to ensure that I understand how a

Because of my insurance I couldn't afford the clinic sleep study, so I just did an At Home Sleep Test through Night Watch. I am suppose to be getting my results in the next couple of days. I went to Ga Lung near Piedmont because that is who my Dad use to go to.

I suggest going up there in January after the holidays and then see if this is still something you want to do. All that snow can be a bit of a shock if you're not use to it!

We didn't go with the Tempurpedic because of the price, but we did try a foam mattress from the same place. It was the Apple Valley. It was very firm and after a week both of us were complaining about how sore we were. We ended up exchanging it for a pillowtop. The second salesman said that if you are a side sleeper that you either need a soft bed that has some give or one of the upper range models of Tempurpedic that isn't as firm. If it wasn't so $$$ I would have the one that cools in a heartbeat!
