Pat's is awesome. She has done several pieces for me including a prom dress and my daughter show choir dress. She also has a great turn around time.

Yeah and I think it will only get worse because of the new banking laws. I paid my mom and dad's mortgage by phone from thier account and it was $0.19 negative and Regions charged them $35. They have been with Region's since before it was Regions back in the 70's and never had a returned check and the bank wouldn't due anything about it.

The article said that they are not generally suposed to but that sometimes they "just slip by" and get cashed they said that is something you just have to chance if you don't want to renew the stop check order

I was just reading on yahoo where boa charges $30 to put a stop payment on a check and then you have to call every six months to renew the stop payment and pay an additional $30 every time you renew. That is ridiculous

That is awesome. When my now 20 year old was 5 my husbands father passed away. She was the first grandchild and they loved each other very much. He passed away suddenly in his sleep. The way my bank does is they deduct the cost of the check but do not put it on the register because it is being "sent back" and if you get the money in the bank before they send it back it will be paid. Sometimes you can call and they will hold it instead of returning it so that you do not have that fee at the place you wrote the check. As of being 29 cents short they are trying to get all the money they can before the new banking laws take affect of Aug 1. After that date they cannot charge you an overdraft for anything under $5

This has nothing to do with voting but when I tried to sign my children up for peach care a long time ago my oldest daughter was denied because she was on the terror watch list. She was 8. my daughters both go to Chatt tech also and that is correct we have to pay for books and then be reimbursed. We rent the books at bookrenter.com for the quarter. They are about 1/3 of the cost to buy the books.

My absolutely wonderful neighbor sent over some homemade veggie soup with all veggies from her garden. I know it is summer but it was wonderful.
