  1. I love HP, but they cost too much so I have two Brother printers, one is a regular printer and the other an all in one and they work hard and are easy to get reman toner cartridges for them. I hate color printers as you never get your moneys worth out of them. Check out a Brother MFC-7840W wireless printing ! ! I think we got ours for about $250 after rebates http://www.brother-usa.com/mfc/modeldetail.aspx?PRODUCTID=MFC7840W
  2. I think I will get one for my work tv... Something to watch from time to time at lunch etc. Thanks, I can cover $11 easy for lunch time tv.
  3. I see no deer , but a few ghost faces to the right.... You are being watched too...
  4. If all else fails you can cut the finger off and save the ring from being damaged.... It will keep the ring in tack... and you will have 9 other fingers to wear it on too. It just might hurt a weeee bit though.... Good luck and the video had some great suggestions over cutting the ring off.
  5. Now that is freaking hilarious that duct tape can fix the problem..... of a $1000 phone that has a stupid design flaw...
  6. I think he was baited pretty heavy. He is wrong in many many ways with his statements. But I sure do think he was baited and setup. Just listen to her tone and what he is saying, it was setup and I think he had a few to drink. No way justifying his statements in anyway period. But she set the phone call and most of it up. She is slimy in a lot of ways of her own too. Not an excuse, but he is a drunk and drunks do and say a lot of trash. He is what I call a functional drunk. That can function when he needs to and drinks the rest of the time. He needs rehab for a few years, not months
  7. I have flown a lot at my last company (a real lot) . Delta was always a pain in the arse and Air Tran was always better. I avoid Delta if I can when I travel for a lot of reasons. They just have had issues for many years and it reflects with the workers and how they treat customers. You can do as you wish, but I will fly any one else first if given the choice.
  8. Mr.Dis "It is a shame that the few who fall short of the trust given to them taint the many who truely want to and try to do their job to the best of their abilities." That is a cold hard fact and you are right a few cause the rest to take a hit. If there was only a way to weed them out. And that is why I think there should be tougher punishment for those that break the law. Fear of the punishment is a strong deterrent. Good day
  9. I think the cop got what he deserved. He killed a guy that was on the ground period. The guys history has nothing to do with it. The cop pulled the trigger and killed the guy. The looting etc is wrong, period. What would you feel if the cop got off for shooting your kid / husband or wife? Mother / father ? I think it was for the most part this was an accident that should not have happen, but let him go would be wrong too. _______________________ Oh and the poster just posted the article and some of you go right for the slam and kick (not too surprised though, that is how
  10. I have a scanner new in the box, (don't know the make or model off hand) that I would sell for $30. I posted it for sale on here a while back and will see if I can find the post.
  11. I just look at it that they are sworn to up hold the law they should be held to a higher standard. They are the guardians of the law and should know even better then someone else. This cop in this story looks like he used his position to bend the law and over look the law and even use (his position) it to his own means.
  12. It is getting a bit like everyday you hear about a bad cop someplace. They need to change the laws as far as bad cops, that they need to do triple the time if convicted of a crime. Like they say don't do the crime if you can't do the time. We need stronger a deterrent on the books.
  13. This kid is not really that screwed up. He is playing the system and winning for now. Now robbing and stealing is not so smart, but he is smart enough to not get caught and I would bet most of the charges can't be proved and or he did not commit them. No praying that he kills him self, well reflects on the writer of that statement pretty in it self.
  14. He would not lose his job just because of what he did unless it was something that would compromise his position any more so then a bank teller stealing. Why shouldn't his information be made public? Just because Paulding.com is a public forum does not in it self give you extra rights as a person that lives in this county or any other county to not have public information be made public or not. And technically he is not even guilty of a crime yet, but as with even DUI arrests, they are made public and reported even though you are not even found guilty yet.
  15. Here is a article form the AJC and the guy was not convicted yet. So why hide a police officers information and not Joe Public? I see this as a double standard http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/metro/stories/2008/12/03/paulding_teacher.html The guy is not guilty yet and was only arrested... but in the public eye he is now a possible child molester or other. Why does the officers name stay out of the story along with the charges and if it were you or me we would have our name out all over the place? It is a double standard and to me they are hiding things as protection o
  16. Pubby as you note you are correct.... but lets put it in a slightly more common place statement. If this were a normal everyday person I think it would go like this. A individual was arrested on suspicion of spouse abuse. The husband / wife was arrested pending charges of suspected abuse. Mr so and so was arrested pending charges and will appear in court on Tuesday before the local magistrate etc. Thats where the line is blurred... this is a police officer and the full story is just not out there yet... Now where as the damage of reputation would have been done with specula
  17. Well we made the news again... Looks like we are getting the big time news stories like the bigger counties do now.
  18. I also think it was a great idea to entice folks an the community to get involved and get people to visit some new stores. I do not have any tickets, but I give him and the whole team effort an A for all there work.
  19. I thought the New Era was the freebie paper that we got in the yard and we did not get one this week.
  20. I will just say that a few of you are good tippers, but when I delivered pizza in Maine and then in Jacksonville,Fl and then Mississippi... The south overall sucked when it came to tipping for delivery of pizza. The north was ten times better hands down. I tip about $3-4 for delivery and the normal 15-20% when I am out dinning. More if good service and less for bad service. Food quality plays a factor also as that is part of the whole dining experience. -
  21. not working for my email address on file.... when you have a min.... tia
  22. Now that is a funny statement...... A cop has better skills using a computer while driving...:rofl: Do they have a special course for that?
  23. Reporters open mike comments of Palin speech kind of funny.... and this lady could have been the VP? Oh and I know Biden is not much better.... ( I think he is brain dead and stupid too) http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/06/27/reporters-caught-tape-mocking-palin-speech/?test=latestnews
  24. Don't the county commissioner play a part in getting these roads fixed? What about the matching money you talk about? I just can't accept that these are state roads going threw our county and we have no control or input in to them getting fixed. And we have to wait for them to say... Oh look at that problem over in Paulding... I have heard and believe " if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem". And yes I do have the state DOT number in my address book and do call them on road conditions from time to time.
  25. Hey did you read my post? No... (Note to self stop arguing with people that are not even closely open to ideas and alternative reasoning) I am saying check things out... by not using the BK laws yo keep a valuable card.. (read the freaking post dang) Going boating and off this topic... OP do your homework and review the laws and other avenues to avoid BK and still keep your credit. If you are not over 25K in debt you can pay your way out of debt and still maintain some credit. Good luck. (I am out of this thread)
