How about we make up some signs and put on stakes and put up all across your front yard? we can even attach a poop bag dispenser. It can say something like "Everyone watch who walks their dog by your lawn, they just might leave you a surprise. Dont be inconsiderate, pick up after your pet" Hopefully it would embarrass the person who did it and they would know the whole hood will be watching!! Or, we can take a pic of the poop and put a "LOST" sign in your yard saying you are looking for the rightful owner Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!

Good luck finding your baby a home, I know its hard for you, but try everything before you turn him in because him being a pit/lab mix and not neutered I would think has already decreased his chances for a long stay at the animal shelter, there are just so many there Have you tried Craigslist?
