I think its a respect thing as well, I was taught never to go through anyones purse and got in big trouble if I did (mom, grandmother, etc) But I dont care who goes through my purse, no secrets there. Same with hubby and his wallet, we're married, if he needs something he helps himself as do I never been a big deal to me.
