My recommendation would be to get a set of Bose earbuds. Yes they're expensive ($100 or so depending on if you want a mic or not) but they last for years if you take care of them and the clarity is FANTASTIC. They will not fall out of your ears because they have something called "stayhear" tips made of really soft rubber. EXTREMELY comfortable. I love mine. I use them to listen to music while I'm powerwalking and they have never fallen out. My Dad and his parents had one when he was a kid. He couldn't come in the house (or sneak in the house) without the bird saying "Is that YOU Junior" in my Grandma's voice. How funny these birds are.

When our girls were learning their multiplication tables they quickly figured out what 8 x 8 was cuz I would sing the "will you still need me" line of that song whenever they couldn't remember the answer.
