Clavical bone is hurting, it has been slowly getting bigger and bigger
LPPT replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Dr. P can fix it. I have the same. I was rear ended years ago and it damaged the muscles in the front of my neck. They healed shorter than normal. When I stress them lifting or doing certain things the bone will become unseated. Mine was very clear on xray and yes it makes your neck and upper back hurt when it is not seated all the way in the socket. -
So you are for the government to rule a private company and tell them who they can and can't hire? As far as members of the chamber living out of the county, there is no rule about residing here or even having a business here. It is very common for businesses to belong to multiple chambers and business associations. We have businesses in this county that have hardly ever made money in this county, they do most of their business in Atlanta. Some are also national and travel for large jobs all over the country. If they have a large contract in a county that last up to a year or more they may

Whitey I also am the founder of a business networking group with over 200 members. I let it go when I retired. I always encouraged those folks to join everything and network as much as possible. Networking is the single most valuable thing a business in Paulding can do. You know why? because they are meeting hundreds and even thousands of other business owners in the county. They are people that don't leave the county to work and tend to support the businesses here. I try not to leave the county when I shop or eat. You have no idea what it means to business in this county to have ev

It is not likely I will come out of retirement to do interviews. It is very hard missing an election I love getting to know the candidates and doing interviews. I still follow very closely what I can.

We support the PBA and it's business members. We are also proud to be part of an organization that provides scholarships for the young people in our community. Anyone can come to the meetings. You are welcome to attend a luncheon. Click on our symbol on the right to make your reservation. You are throwing garbage at the wall to see what sticks. You have no idea what you are talking about.

I think we actually have more control of the evil close to home. Of course it can also be the most harmful personally. I think we should step up when an animal, child or elderly person is being abused. Most importantly is to teach our children not to be evil by enforcing the rule of do unto others. We should not tolerate evil in our closest circle of family and friends. I am not referring to the biblical meaning of evil but the spiritual meaning of evil. Evil can not exist where it is not tolerated. We all make evil choices from time to time, we justify things we should not. We suf

I am so glad the judge supported the parents. No parent intends to spoil a child so badly that they turn on them. It is absolutely the fault of the parents not the child when they feel this entitled. It is never too late to do the right thing by a child. I hope they can stand strong and not allow her to come home. She needs this lesson even more than her formal education at this point in her life.

At 18 putting a child out is the only leverage left. My rules have never been very hard as my children got older. Rule number one was always zero tolerance on drugs which can effect rule number 2 which is to practice safe sex. Rule number 3 is the only way you live here is to go to school. I don't want rent from any of my kids. When we got to the 3rd child we had another rule that we added, after 18 you do not make waves. Every one of my children were put out over number 3 and 4. People may think it is cruel to put a child out but they knew the rules up front. My son who is spoiled

I am not sure that the citizens of this county being one of the most conservative can lay claim to expectations of being heard or considered in the decision making. When you elect Republicans you expect for them to rule by law, no more no less. You really can't complain when they do what they do within the law. You have no choice but to replace them or try and change the laws that govern them. They know that people might seek to change the law, but usually whats done is done. You might prevent something in the future. As Blake said it just never occurred to him that a bond wo

You are giving me way too much credit for knowing what is going on. I have been out of the loop for many months. I am more content to sit back and watch this. I have some notions about some of the problems and how to fix them. At the end of the day they are simply opinions.

I have no idea what you are talking about as far as transparency. All I know is I had good reason to not want to see his opponent in office and I have not changed my mind on that. I understand that he is running for my post commissioner. I am very concerned that he has financial support from somewhere that has tried to put him on our commission for the 3rd time. 3 campaigns are not cheap, either he is rich or his backers are.

I don't speak for the Chamber and really don't have a good grasp on how they are structured. I do know about the PBA.

You will get no argument from me that the studies should have already been done. They had time to make it happen during the last year before the first piece of dirt was moved. Now we are facing losing even more money on the prep work exposed to elements and an unusable runway. You have Blake out there running the show and Propeller that is assumed to know what they are doing when it comes to airports. It just seems like a very big over site that has been very costly. Surely one has a discussion with the FAA about all the steps that are taken to convert to commercial.

The PBA is a non-profit that uses it's membership dues to create networking opportunities for small businesses. Any monies above operational cost goes to scholarships. The organization receives no funds from tax payers. The group is also very non-political so you are barking up the wrong tree on that one. You might as well leave it out of the conversation from this point on.

I am assuming that much of the communication came to a halt with the lawsuit. You know lawyers want to be totally in control of the entire situation. The elected officials are the ones being held accountable for whatever advice these lawyers give. You know anything you say can be held against you in a court of law. To quote Tommy again "I think you were given some bad advice" At the end of the day that is what you get from a lawyer or even a doctor. It is an educated opinion and sometimes you start to see the motivation behind that advice. I think the day has come that some are lo

Good grief! Carmen Rollins has been beating the drum about a convention center in Hiram for many years before Jamie was even known to Paulding. Jamie was recruited to bring industry to Paulding. What you are complaining about are tools given at the state level to help communities like Paulding attract business. You are trying to make it out to be a dirty thing. Ask the millions of people all over this state that have good paying jobs because of this recruitment how they feel about incentives. You are on a mission and trying to paint anyone you can with your mud soaked brush. I

I believe that the lack of a very nice hotel has hurt us when it comes to production in that studio. Word gets around about that and long congested rides back to Atlanta. That studio has always felt outside of the community and I think it has hurt attitudes toward it. It seems to me that we have a huge hump to get passed. So many things are dependent on other things kind of like what came first the chicken or the egg. Steady studio work would help a hotel, but you have to have the hotel first and you can't expect a hotel to sit empty waiting on a movie. I think we should focus on in

I wonder if the movie studio would convert well to a convention center. There is plenty of land around it to build a hotel. I would support that idea.

I am confused. When I go to the polls they ask for my ID then find my name on a list of registered voters before handing me my card to put in the machine. I have always assumed that they marked my name to prevent identity fraud.

If you are out and about check it out. I did some shopping there this week and as always I found a beautiful and unusual piece I just had to have. The booth renters are very reasonable in their pricing.

My understanding is that our military has no use for unskilled fodder. Almost everyone now has a skilled job that they train for, for months and years.
You don't need very many that drive trucks or jeeps from point a to b. Much of the skilled people can and do the mundane task also.

People are purposely painting a picture that we need to put armed men on a front to shoot and get shot at.
I always thought that the marines did the hand to hand combat in urb

The anti airport people have yet to prove that anyone on these 3 boards has done a single thing with the motivation being personal gain. We have mistakes, we have very little transparency. Every move made has still been toward making this airport work for the citizens.
-
I don't have a problem with the same people on both boards. The intent up until recently has been to manufacturing, maintenance, and repair to the airport. One needs to know what the other is doing. These are volunteer positions. You can't fire volunteers for mistakes. I can tell you that I am very concerned about rubber stamping going on with both boards. I was told that the FAA said that we didn't need environmental studies expand the airport. Did the FAA lie to the AA board? Because of that issue our airport has been left virtually inoperable. Meaning that the small companies out th

I know were I am coming from. I want that airport to generate money instead of eating it. I have no issue with us entering into public/private partnership to make it happen. It just seems to me the process should be much smoother than what we have now. I don't even object to the money being spent to bring it up to where it needs to be. Our commissioners had no choice but to find a way to make it pay. They did not start this project. They desperately need the tax revenue that can come from it. In taking this project on and trying to make it pay, to quote Mr. Carmicheal "We are not do
