Can you show me how David gets a kick back from the airport going commercial. I have tried to figure out any possible way he could directly profit from this and I just can't find how it puts money in his pocket.

It has occurred to me that the impact studies were not done before because once they were completed your lawyers would be able to file for the reimbursement for relocation for certain people. My understanding is that you would be funded all moving expenses and a home comparable to what you have now. I am not against the airport and have always been supportive of doing the right thing by you and your neighbors. Every effort will be put forth to make the airport a success. That success will lower the quality of life for you and those people, As far as I am concerned the next million that

You need to look for information from better sources. Obama care does not exist. Any doctor that tells you he will not accept Obama care is an idiot and should not be treating patients. Within a year the Dr's will protest the slightest hint of revoking it. Only in states were the medicaid was refused are premiums higher to pay for the less fortunate. Every one in this country wanted affordable insurance and healthcare. We could not have it because the republicans only listen to lobbyist.

You might be dealing with a child that was raised that way. Many people allow kids to order what they want and pay the tab. Next time if there is a next time you can have the conversation on the way to dinner. I did not read were you ask your wife and kids about an invitation after the fact. I would have said to the child that it is a family event only. Even if the kids invited her you could have said they misunderstood the arrangements. I would definitely have a talk with the kids. You are paying not them. I would let them know that they always ask you first. If they fail to ask first the

I love the outside and working in the garden more than anything. I am starting my harping about ticks and Lyme Disease early. The reason so is that I was bitten and infected sometime between the last week February or the first week in March. It takes 2 to3 weeks for the bacteria to multiply enough to form the bulls eye rash and the symptoms of overwhelming fatigue and body aches. About 50% never get the rash. I felt that God had blessed me that I got it. Many Dr.s locally still don't believe it is here and seldom test for it. Many people end up misdiagnosed and treated for MS or severe

Aww how sweet. Love the name, my middle name is Ann.

I think she was testing the waters. P.com can be rough on newbies and old timers alike. Surely you don't want to become the feared instead of the fearful. We all need to think back before we jump on a newbie. I remember my heart beating so fast and afraid to look at the responses on my post. I was skeered to death of Leslie because I could not find any cause or reason for her attacks.

It is apparent that some see a difference between physical abuse to a young and helpless child. She and her daughter were just as vulnerable as any infant in this. People can die from this type of thing easily. I contracted food poisoning one time when living alone in an apartment. I woke up 3 days later in my bathroom on the floor. I have always felt that it was a miracle I did not die of dehydration. If I would of had a very young toddler or infant that ingested the same thing we could have both been found dead. It is not the OP's fault that everyone immediately thought of a cert

I think about him every time my lower premium pays for something it never would before. The enlightened doctors are loving it too! Of course the insurance companies are hating it. That is a change from me feeling hated because they refused to pay for my legitimate medical needs.

I did not go crazy about the DG. I wanted them to build out the front with a porch for the residents. It has become very social, we have not had any accidents, which was my worry. People in this community love their DG. The parking lot is packed after 4 and on the weekends. It is funny when the old timers say we love our DG. I still wish they would build a porch on the side with some tables and chairs. Sometimes you run into folks you have not seen in a coons age and you want to chat. Our people are not going to go bad because of commerce. Our Sheriff will still do a great job of ke

This is what I am talking about. http://www.faa.gov/airports/resources/publications/orders/media/environmental_5100_37b.pdf I have not ever seen it come up. I suspect that it is not being applied to. Hopefully since Todd is the post commissioner for the area he might look into it. This should be the first thing we apply to the FAA for reimbursement. This may be the exact reason that the airport has failed to thrive.

Did I use language that would make you assume that I despise 9-5ers. I don't think so. Everyone is suited to different things. Some people seek security and some are risk takers that take responsibility for their failures. Leadership is always dependent on the actions and advice of others. Generally when a calculated risk fails it is due to uncontrollable forces. The anti airport folks are an uncontrollable force in this instance. I certainly believe that the decision that was made was based on the urgency to finally put this airport in the black. There is no intent to ruin the lives

Tundra I got one of those quote tag messages that would not allow a direct reply to your 11:29 post. Why would Paulding even be mentioned in that as it is a newer airport and it is not commercialized? I am willing to give commercialization a chance at this point. I don't like the idea of heavy traffic of any kind car, train or plane. Commercialization is the opportunity to go forward. So what if it is 50 million as long as the FAA reimburses us 90% I am fine with that. Because if it fails as a commercial passenger airport it will be Propeller that loses big, we get 90% back fail or succe

Because you have blinders on when it comes to the roll it plays in your life and the many things that you take for granted that would not be possible if not for the federal government. When push came to shove you would accept the help offered.

I went to the wiki to find the information I had been seeking to try and show folks what is truly happening in our community and how crucial it is to get a return on the airport and to keep the IBA on track. I am very concerned about a change in focus that can be caused by commercializing this airport. The loan from the IBA that was nessesary because some steps were skipped that resulted in funding issues. The IBA can and should spend funds on industrial growth and jobs at the airport. The studies were not done and money was spent before they knew absolutely that the use would be a

I have watched people try to apply the restraints locally that they would like to see applied nationally. It doesn't work that way. Politicians perform differently in their community. Their goal should always be to improve the quality of our lives. Especially through job creation. Well paying jobs that are not subject to recessions such as the service industry. They should be making every effort to do so with federal funds. That is our money we paid it in. When we use that money to create well paying jobs in this community we don't need to expand our social services. Social services is

It is not about what I want. It is about the thousands that have moved here and are raising their children here. It is about families staying together in this community for generations. Bedroom communities become more and more expensive to live in over time. It keeps the riff raff out. It also makes it very difficult for young people to get a start especially in the area of housing. There is no going back, there is only going forward. AS large as the area around the airport is and sparsely populated we won't have the problem of 1000;s of people being negatively impacted unless they cho

If you want tumble weeds blowing across the airport vote for Patti.

I think 90% is a very good deal. I want to know how much we should pay out to the folks at the end of the runway.

If you believe Blake Swafford it is because the FAA will only reimburse for public funds. If it is the truth it makes sense. The county is paid back for what they spend and it leaves Propeller with more capitol to spend on other things such as baggage and hangers. The FAA already has the funds, they have been collecting them for years from those of us that fly. It can go to any airport, so why not ours? I am more interested in where we will get the money to relocate those that live the closest to the runway and were their before the airport. I have stated many times that the only

Pubby would also be a good advocate to treat those severely impacted well. I am pro airport and commercialization. I object to not fairly compensating those that are the closest. He is very intelligent and does a fair job of understanding the law and contracts. He won't need to be instructed by counsel on Roberts rules either. He is fair, he does not hold grudges and is never vindictive. He is supportive of economic development, but on the other hand he is very conservative with money. I probably know him as well as anyone. If he were running in my district I would vote for him.

I am with you Low, this voting for anything with an R by it's name isn't working so well for us. Staunch R all my life but I am done being treated like an idiot and even more done with lies and fairy tales.

Lack of involvement in the community. As I have said before people always learn too late about things they don't agree with and then it is too late to do anything. I can't believe how fast they were turning dirt in front of the courthouse for the park. I think I am the lone ranger in being concerned about building things the taxpayer will maintain forever. That is the difference between you and I. I would much rather see tax dollars spent to create jobs and revenue streams. It is a good thing that the surrounding counties don't force businesses to hire within their own counties because
