I should have spoken up when you first posted. When I had it done I ask to be pre-medicated before the appointment. It is not that bad. There is not much help for facet syndrome but pain meds. My pain relief from the procedure did not last long enough to make it a viable therapy for me. Bed rest is the only thing that stops my pain. The minute I get up and walk awhile the pain returns.
