Reports: Grand jury reaches decision on Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson
LPPT replied to Mustluvdogs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
They are the only one that obsesses about the evils of Obama. Every other story Obama is blamed for everything. Talk about a lack of personal responsibility. I know because I am forced to listen to it at my dads. It is the fact that I hate it, that I notice that. If it weren't for the fact that it is bad for the country and extremely misleading to it's viewers it would be funny. -

Fox news almost blows the top of my head off. They don't even rebuke those that point out the lies and 1/2 truths. They are laughing all the way to the bank. I have never seen such arrogance in my life. They don't even do research, they have low paying peons for that. Just listening to them makes me want to take a shower. Oh and whats up with 3/4's of their on air staff being hot females. American men are pigs, you know what pigs eat every time they are given a chance? Any and everything deposited by the rest of the barn yard animals. Most of you men are old enough to know when you are being p -

I love you dearly, but you are obsessed with the notion that Mexicans are the root of America's problems. I am not sure how and why you latched onto the illegals as the problem. Could it be that Bush relied heavily on the American Hispanic community for election in Texas and later the presidency. You need to blame the white man that was in office for what happened. Instead of poor abused people that will sacrifice even their lives to get here. It is hard for the white trash to riot, they spend every penny they can find on drugs. At least most of the black folks support consumerism wit their lo -
What the 2 of you have is a failure to communicate. The threats have to happen before the fact. Not that it will help afters hours of looking forward to a certain food cooked a certain way. It is kind of like being teased, thinking you were ultimately going to get the prize. Or the big no on the verge of no return. You really have my sympathy on this one. My husband has embraced a lot of southern foods, but I know it is not the same. I never get my feelings hurt. I am happy that he is happy when we visit his NY relatives in Florida. Of course they have grown very fond of some southern d

Our nation is divided again over a controversial shooting of a young black man. The grand jury has spoken and it is time to have a different dialog about some of the facts that have been established. We have had concerned citizens all over the country to demonstrate in the streets. Where are these people when shootings occur in the poor black neighborhoods. Why don't they march in and help people take the communities back from the thugs. The black lawyers, doctors, and other successful black people. We have indeed established that officers are scared of black men and black men are scare -

At some point while I was playing or preparing to play Monday Night Football, the news broke about the Ferguson Decision. After trying to figure out how I felt, I decided to write it down. Here are my thoughts: I'M ANGRY because the stories of injustice that have been passed down for generations seem to be continuing before our very eyes. I'M FRUSTRATED, because pop culture, music and movies glorify these types of police citizen altercations and promote an invincible attitude that continues to get young men killed in real life, away from safety movie sets and music studios. I'M FEARFUL bec

We are all racist it is part of our survival instinct. We assign attributes to every thing we come in contact with. Snakes are a good example, some people are afraid of all snakes and some only poisonous ones. If you have known people from many nationalities you will more than likely assign them attributes based on their culture. I think it is harder to fight this instinct when the visual difference is as extreme as black and white. When we see other Caucasians we tend to think they are like us, we believe we have a lot in common. Of course if they speak another language we change our m

Are you saying that because most of the businesses are owned by minorities that it is more likely that they are gaming the system? -

I believe that it is a minority of the actual residents doing the looting and burning. I believe that many came from other places specifically to escalate the violence. You would have had the same thing no matter the verdict. I am sure that their were many locals in the peaceful protest. They should have turned them away and called the cops on the strangers. The riots only prove that as a race they are violent thieves. That they are so stupid as to deny forensics from multiple experts. We have nervous officers and you can see why. Why are so many more blacks in prison, because they don't s -

The family hired their an independent forensic expert that said the evidence supported the officers story. I can not figure out why they are keeping it up unless it is for a lawsuit and a payday. The evidence is overwhelming. I hope someday they can see that and let the anger go. -

Exactly, I have heard it first hand. The emulating of sagging pants. White people or even the system is not to blame for that. All of this has been passed down from the days of the civil rights movement. It would seem they may have lost more than they gained. Since being in Georgia most of my experience with black people has been with very successful and ambitious people. You find high crime rates in poverty no matter the race. Until both sides look beyond skin color we will never solve this. When I look at these issues I tend to mentally put the word poor before the word Black or His -

There is video of the incident. The family declined to watch it. Their counsel has watched it and it will be made public soon. It needs to be shown to children old enough to watch it. Morbid yes, it is the equivalent of scared straight were kids are exposed to real criminals and prison. -

I think the delay may have been to allow people to get safely home from work into there homes. I am sure they expected some type of violent reaction to the verdict. -

Are you not aware of teens taking guns to school and killing as many as they can? For all this cop knew this kid was about to do the same. What if this had been the kids intention and he shot the cop first then emptied the clip into everyone else. Don't you know about kids killing kids? This officer had no choice but to protect the people there from the threat of being shot to death. I am not being harsh or cruel. -

Maybe there needs to be education in the schools about the world of a policeman. It is hard for us all to understand why police react so quickly to perceived danger, Could it be that his world is different from our world? All they deal with all day is people that have no respect for them or fear of breaking the law. The kid had no business carrying a weapon where he was. A BB gun is a gun. It shoots a projectile that can cause damage and kill small animals. It looks like a freakin real gun and the kid knew that. People called the cop thinking they might be shot and killed. Since the beginn -
There has probably been some very unkosher things go down in Fergusion, they simply chose the wrong situation. I am sure that the pain is intense when parents and friends believe that they have a kid that will rise above it all. It comes down to history. The white cop and his fear, the black kid paying the ultimate price for bad judgment. We deal with history right here on this sight. It is hard to understand why people supposedly gang up on someone. I get a laugh out of the folks that call me a liberal, I don't subscribe to anything liberal. so they are educating me about myself most of the

Anybody can be charged with a crime. The forensics support the officer. Time to sit down and shut up.

He is definitely gone. You can expect many reasons before it is all said and done. They can try to replace him, they never will.

Most of the business owners have insurance. The teeny tiny minority that the media exaggerates to appear to be hundreds of thousands will run the handful of businesses out and make the issue look like the entire community are a bunch of welfare thugs. You people just don't really get media, do you? You want to believe that anyone not Lilly white is running the country in the ground. You have people with cameras and microphones walking around asking people certain questions and when they answer right they tape it. You have some that have empathy towards youth that say he didn't have weapon

I should have spoken up when you first posted. When I had it done I ask to be pre-medicated before the appointment. It is not that bad. There is not much help for facet syndrome but pain meds. My pain relief from the procedure did not last long enough to make it a viable therapy for me. Bed rest is the only thing that stops my pain. The minute I get up and walk awhile the pain returns. Nobody wants to feel like a news article about addiction to pain meds. My pain meds allow me to be active. I stopped the gabapentin after a week. It affected me 24/7. With the pain meds I have I can not take
